We absolutely love our home base of Southern Utah. Its beauty is unmatched and it's basically a giant playground for kids and adults alike. This week we took the Jeep out to try and tackle some difficult trials in Sand Hollow. Sliplock Gulch is absolutely crazy! It's amazing that we have machines that can handle the steep, rocky terrain. The end of the trail is Top of the World and the view is totally worth the effort. You've got to see it! We spent time on Honeymoon trail as well as playing on dirt bikes in the sand dunes. The kids got some driving lessons too! They're getting so big! RC Trucks, hiking around Fort Pierce and a surprise from Croatia rounded out the rest of our week. Thanks as always for watching. The main feedback relates to the warm welcome, the good atmosphere and above all a nice surprise regarding the performance and soundproofing of the OVNIs. The presence of Arnaud Boissières as a coach and above all as a sea enthusiast was greatly appreciated. And like any enthusiast, he is keen to share his practices, his tips, his experiences. J'aurais aimé avoir pu me consacrer quasiment à temps plein à la préparation du bateau et du voyage 6 mois avant le départ. Malheureusement, la gestion de nos activités professionnelles respectifs, la mise en place des moyens de financement du projet nous ont occupé à temps plein jusqu'à la veille du départ. Heureusement, que nous avons l'habitude de fonctionner en mode "projet" : Stratégie, Plan d'actions, Rétroplanning et Moyens. Tous les gros pôles : gréement, moteur, voile avait été planifiés et le reste traduit en listes. Malgré cela certains points passent entre les mailles du filet. We tank dive 'The Zoo' and 'The Great White Wall' on the Rainbow Reef in the Somosomo Strait, before sailing back across the strait to seek shelter from foul weather in Viani Bay.

This week I spend the afternoon in Market Drayton, a historic market town adjacent to the Shropshire Union Canal. The town has some amazing architecture, and interesting history - plus a great brewery pub! The canal wharf, moorings, and mill have been through a recent refurbishment, and it's all rather lovely and well worth a visit.
