Grazie alla consulenza dell’esperto Marco Ackler di Neomarin, vedremo come questo setup può migliorare la tua esperienza di navigazione, rendendola più fluida, veloce e divertente. ⛵ Trasto di randa: come funziona sulla Flores 30 Ci troviamo in navigazione di bolina con circa 12 nodi di vento e una velocità costante di 6,6 nodi. La posizione è quella del timoniere: timone nella mano destra, e completo controllo della randa con la sinistra. Il sistema di gestione della randa è davvero interessante e si articola in tre punti di controllo principali: Cimetta azzurra – il carrello del trasto di randa: Chiamato anche "gas" della barca, permette di regolare la posizione del carrello. Portandolo sopravento aumentiamo l’angolo di bolina (modalità “mode”), mentre lasciandolo scappare guadagniamo velocità. Scotta di randa – regolazione diretta: Facile da manovrare, anche se con i 30 m² di vela può richiedere un certo sforzo, soprattutto con vento sostenuto. Cimino rosso – regolazione di fino del trasto: Questa soluzione brillante consente di aprire o cazzare la randa con due dita, in modo preciso e leggero, migliorando il comfort e l'efficacia della regolazione, anche con vento forte. ✅ Perché questo sistema è così utile? You will never believe this ... We still don't and we lived it. We did not see the the UFO's or the ghost orb at the time of filming. There were three of us there and we were all looking the same direction and no one heard or saw a thing. The first time the UFO fly's by the wave noise is slightly louder in the original footage. However, the 2nd time the UFO came by, it was closer to us based on the cloud as a backdrop and the waves were at their lowest decibel in the moment and there is no noise, no lights, and they were not visible with the naked eye. While I did not slow the orb down and freeze frame the footage like I did for the UFO's, it was very compelling to say the least. The third object is believed to be a bug that crosses over the "Pillbox Sunrise" picture. The UFO and orb is still a mystery to us. Let us know what you think in the comments! Capturing the amazing and mesmerising natural phenomenon of coral spawning. Right on cue with the sun setting, water temperature and lunar conditions just right, Agincourt Reef set about creating new generations of corals for our reefs. This year is extra special as we’re expecting not one, but two mass coral spawning events on the Great Barrier Reef, with the second expected in mid December, providing an extra boost and resilience for our magnificent reefs. Thanks to Jesse Oberholzer, Indepth Video & Photography, for capturing this spectacular underwater symphony of coral spawning and night life at Quicksilver’s Agincourt Reef pontoon. What is Coral Spawning? While corals have a year-round form of asexual reproduction where coral polyps can divide to become two separate but identical coral polyps, spawning takes place externally with mass fertilisation release into the ocean. You might hear it referred to as Sex on the Reef, or even an upsidedown snow storm! Coral spawning is an annual mass reproductive event where corals release egg and sperm bundles into the ocean for external fertilisation. This phenomenon was first witnessed on the GBR by marine biologists in 1982. It is vital to the Reef’s continual adaptation and long term survival. It usually occurs 2-6 days after the full moon in November or December. For spawning to occur, a variety of factors come in to play. We know the moon cycle and specific water temperatures (greater than 26 degrees celcius) play a role, but also tides, salinity levels and day length can also affect the timing. Spawning usually happens 2 - 3 hours after sunset, which scientists believe is timed to ensure most of the plankton feeders are asleep, creating a greater chance of pollination.
