All is sorted by the awesome shop at Rolly Tasker and we move onto some other projects like fixing our AC pump and getting a new anchor chain for Delos. Explore shallow reef-strewn waters of the Bahamas. We run up on the beach in the far-out Bahamian Islands. Travelling the Far-Out Islands of the Bahamas there are often no other boats around for days. This trip was in the late spring, and we visited islands where very few boats travel. We sailed to Jurassic Park! Well, it certainly felt like it as we began to explore our first stop in the Azores- Flores Island. Our new friend Felipe offers to take us ALL the way around the island in his Zodiac where we find massive caves, thousands of deadly jellyfish and the Westernmost point of Europe! Come along on a POV journey to single-handedly sail Soulianis off anchor. Since the engine wasn’t started, Kirk forgot to check on the dinghy painter—and it all goes downhill from there. Normally we have our specific roles and routines; but the change of pace and lack of a second pair of eyes on the boat makes it easy get thrown off, and then things start to slip through the cracks. On December 12th, 1978, the German cargo ship MS München disappeared while sailing through a storm on the North Atlantic. A series of radio messages and a small handful of clues suggest that the modern cargo ship probably sank after colliding with a massive rogue wave. They’ve sniffed, hunted and marked more territories in their lifetime than any other pawed creature I know. Choosing to live an alternative lifestyle, especially one as a nomad, comes with its challenges. Luckily for us, both Singa and Cleo have adapted and thrived through the ever-changing journey. Our thousands of miles together around North America were mostly seamless and straightforward. Even moving aboard a sailboat proved to be more of a challenge for us humans than the felines. But, 13,000 nautical miles later we’re at a crossroads. We’ve been confronted with some hard decisions and it’s been an emotional roller-coaster. How do you shop for 3 months of OFF THE GRID living on a sailboat? In this episode we find ourselves in the port of San Juan, Puerto Rico preparing to set sail to some very remote islands. Knowing it will be months before we can get supplies again we decide to do a huge provisioning run and fill Delos with enough food for 2 adults + 1 baby for 90 days which is 540 servings plus snacks, drinks, and other necessities like toilet paper! The food in itself is a crazy mission, and if you add in other necessities to keep Delos ship shape like fuel, oil, filters, and other boat projects we have in progress it can get out of control in a hurry. Please find right over another week of our lives where we were sailing from Nassau to Clifton part (creek) and after heading to Allen's Cay. On our way Jack showed a very practical way to transfer a liquide from one tank to another with fast and clean results. Our first passage from Nassau to creek took us about an hour, but we were able to go under sail just with a light wind. We anchored in a creek for few day to do some snorkeling around one-palm tree island and find out the history of the Clifton's National Park. That creek charmed both of us and we really wished to stay there for few weeks, but....The weather was getting verse and verse, so we moved south to the closest Exuma's cay - Allen's Cay. At the same time we are checking hurricane alerts every day to be aware of the distance and possible ways to react. And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia.  We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way.  Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. When I toured the Cheoy Lee 53' motor sailor I thought that it was about as close to perfect as you were going to get. Needless to say I loved it for what it was, but this 63' version just takes everything that makes the 53' great and turns that up to 11. We see a lot of strange things underwater, but this has to be the strangest! We heard a rumor of bizarre objects about 1 mile offshore from Isla Mujeres. With some possible GPS coordinates in hand we decide to spend the morning searching. Imagine swimming along and finding a sunken car, then a bunch of kneeling headless statues, then a group of coral-covered people. What the heck is going on here? Well you'll need to watch to find out :). After returning from our exploration mission we comment on how nothing has broke on Delos in a while. Well, we should have kept our mouths shut because we had a major system failure involving the generator, toilets, AC, and even the water maker. With temperatures over 100F we start troubleshooting right away to pinpoint the problem hopping for a common point of failure.
