Después de 3 semanas en varadero, por fin volvemos al agua ⚓ Y no solo eso… después de muchos años, dejamos nuestro puerto base con la intención de empezar a viajar más lejos y descubrir nuevos destinos 🌍 En esta travesía de Tenerife a Las Palmas, vivimos un momento de tensión con un buque en rumbo de posible colisión. Quiero aclarar algo importante para quienes vean ese momento 👇 En lugar de caer a babor para buscarle la popa como siempre hago en estas situaciones, decidí llamar por radio (VHF), que es precisamente para lo que está. Según el Regla 18 del RIPA, un velero tiene prioridad frente a un buque a motor en condiciones normales. Pero más allá de lo que diga la ley, mi forma de navegar siempre es clara: evitar problemas y buscar la maniobra más segura. En este caso concreto, la situación era especial: Nosotros salíamos de Santa Cruz de Tenerife El buque se dirigía hacia Santa Cruz 👉 Si yo caía a babor para pasar por su popa, y él hacía lo que indica la normativa (caer a estribor para dejarme pasar), hubiéramos terminado cruzándonos continuamente, empeorando la situación. The roundtable focused on the newly formed Oceans Caucus of the U. S. Senate and its impact on the Marine Trades. The Caucus will work to increase awareness and find common ground in responding to issues facing the oceans and coasts, which support millions of jobs in America and contribute more to the country's GDP than the entire farm sector, grossing more than $230 billion in 2004.
