A few months ago we were lucky enough to spend a day aboard the beautiful and historical Tall Ship, The One and All. We got to see the amazing and friendly crew working together as a tight knit team as well as lend a hand with some of the tasks. We also felt what it is like to be out in 40 knot winds although we didn't get any footage, we were too busy holding on and enjoying the ride! If you ever find yourself in sunny SA with a day to spare, we highly recommend booking a day out on The One and All, it's an experience we'll always look back on fondly. Here's some of the highlights in this clip.Newbie wannabe pirates invest in a few boats, we have a Mirror Dinghy, Bruce Roberts 34, Top Hat 25 Mk1, Timber Hull 23 Alan Rice, and a 14 foot Catamaran which we are repairing, sailing around going on adventures. We are based in Adelaide, South Australia and are new to sailing so we are learning as we go, what an amazing ride stay tuned as we get up to mischief, have a laugh and go on some crazy adventures. In 2019 Tessa was awarded a grant by Arts Council England to develop her creative practice, experimenting with deeper tools and methods for co-creation. Whilst the events of 2020 have restricted the extent to which she could expand the activity, she has been hosting a group called The Art of Social Dreaming in regular matrices. We have Tropical Storm Elsa heading to the west coast of Florida and as of this writing it should make landfall somewhere north of the Tampa Bay Area. That said, we have to make storm preparations because we can never tell where a storm would ultimately land. So I explain the things I do to prepare Reverie and my home for a storm whether Tropical Storms Elsa, or any other Tropical Storm or Hurricane for that matter. Some key things to keep in mind: - Understand the weather event ahead of you - Consider your location and the impact of the wind and storm surge. - Plan your strategy - Secure your vessel accordingly. In this episode, we'll be going over the specifics of installing Victron solar charge controllers and equipment on our sailboat. This is a complicated process as you have play a little Tetris trying to find the best way to position the components in a very small space. Episode 16: This is Montenegro: Orahovac Castle Cass and Shelly with Sailing Eriskay have been away for a few weeks as it was stormy and not great weather to explore the beauty which surround us. We found a break in the weather and have noticed a castle across the bay which we have wanted to hike to for a while. Today was that day! We hiked to Orahovac Keep, it was not the castle we were initially searching for but it’s all about the adventure. We found a trail on Apple Maps near what we thought was the castle and decided to find out what we could find. We were fortunate to enjoy stunning views, a great hike and find a keep for the castle 2 peaks away. In this episode we meet up with friends from the JVW, explore Oostende and Brugge, we sail with our Contest 36 over the French border into France to Dunkerque and also sail through the Dover straight past Calais into the English Channel on our way to Boulogne sur Mer.

Boat work continues with custom Sunbrella windshield cover. Learning as I go is the best way to use my creativity while building confidence in my canvas repair and reconstruction. I’m not a pro, I’m just sharing my approach to this task… I did break 2 sewing needles in this build. The hand held snap tool and the Sunbrella marine fabric were purchased on Amazon.
