Diving in the Gili Islands is always a lot of fun. We dove them for the first time back in February when we stayed on Gili Air. This time, we stayed on Lombok, but the day trips go to the Gilis to dive. We did this for one day before transitioning to muck diving (See Episodes 24 and 26) off of Lombok Island. We dove two different sites, Turtle Heaven (always a fave with newer divers) and Hans Reef (a fave for macro). Between the dives, we were able to spend 1.5 hours for lunch and to off-gas on Gili Air. It was fabulous to be back on the island and to know our way around the place! Of course, we returned to Go Go Shakes - a fave of ours. After the surface interval, we did a second dive and then returned to Lombok. It's only a 25 minute boat ride which is great, but then a 30+ minute van ride back to the Sengiggi area. Lombok-Dive rinses and stores all of your gear so you don't have to carry it back and forth each day. We did enjoy diving with Lombok-Dive. They were really cheap in price, gave us a good deal, and allowed us to dictate where we wanted to dive. The downside, they were 20-30 minutes late picking up every morning, put brand new OWD in our dive group, and were a bit disorganized on the boat for gearing up different dive teams. Other than those issues, they were kind, friendly and helpful. They were a bit pushy when it came to tips...though Herman was always professional and was great PR for that dive group. I have 40 meters between my Vera controller and the nearest z-wave receiver in the garage. Range extenders have not worked well. The solution became an extra antenna on my Vera Edge. Jag har 40 meter mellan min Vera controller och närmaste z-wave mottagare i garaget. Räckviddsförlängare har inte fungerat bra. Lösningen blev en extra antenn på min Vera Edge.

Maïe est notre nouveau bateau. C'est un Bavaria 32, relativement grand pour un 32 pieds. Nous avions acheté ce bateau 2 jours avant le confinement et n'avions pas pu y retourner jusqu'au week-end de l'Ascension. J'ai pu réparé quelques bricoles qui n'allait pas et installé mon ancre Rocna. Comme le montre la vidéo, il dispose de nombreux rangements et de très grand coffre dans la cabine avant. Malheureusement nous n'avons pas encore naviguer suffisamment pour ce faire une idée précise de son comportement en mer. J'espère que ce ce tour du propriétaire vous aura donné une idée du bateau.

Our neighbor invited us over to enjoy his traditional family Sunday breakfast. How could we say no?? Our time in Antigua & Barbuda has been filled warm receptions everywhere we go. Everyone waves good morning and says hi. People tell us the are happy we are here. This has been an unexpected and welcomed contrast to our years in Manhattan, New York. Would you believe after two years in one apartment, we never met any of our neighbors? Not even anyone on our floor? Breakfast turned out great and we learned a lot from Randy's cooking. He already invited us back for a big Christmas meal!
