At the mecca of beach volleyball, Manhattan Beach Pier, the most exciting women's college teams competed in the inaugural SoCal Challenge beach volleyball event, including reigning national champion USC, UCLA, and Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, Hawaii, Cal State Long Beach, University of Arizona, CalPoly SLO, and Grand Canyon. The event, organized by Mark Paaluhi and Butch Hendrick in partnership with Joe Lewis Company, was on Nov. 13-14.

Arriving at Inspiration Point (a peninsula between Sacred Cove Beach and the Portuguese Bend) just in time for the sunset! To the north in the golden view is Sacred Cove and Sacred Cove Beach, Portuguese Point, Abalone Cove, and the sun sets just out of the reach of Long Point. To the south, in our shadow is the Portuguese Bend, lined by the Portuguese Bend Beach Club, Rancho Palos Verdes Beach, and the western tip of the Trump National Golf Course.

Finding my way from Abalone Cove, to Portuguese Point, and barely arrive at Inspiration Point by the end of the video.
