The final event of the 2023 season for the new Olympic class set to debut at Paris 2024 opened with a sunny day and wind of about 10 kts from the southeast, conditions that saw the Race Committee specify slalom format for both the men's and women's fleets. Sharon Kantor and Nicolo Renna are the first two leaders of the event organised by Marina Rubicón.

After 2.5 months exploring the Whitsundays, we’re wrapping up this unforgettable chapter of our sailing journey. From daily whale visits and snorkelling adventures, to chasing down underwater sea sculptures, catching mud crabs, fish and squid, and even heading out to the reef for the very first time on ARGO – this place has given us so many memories we’ll never forget. Today, we are waiting on parts at Dowry Creek Marina, so we are knocking out a few projects. This one is a simple swap of the accumulator tank. How did we know it had failed? When I tried to add air, water pushed out of the bladder. That tells you the tank is done. On our 2000 Moody 46 we have spent the refit trying to set things up so you can replace common parts without digging for a toolbox.
