Measuring 101.05 feet or 30.8 metres, Oyster 100-01 Sarafin was the first-ever Oyster superyacht. Launched in 2012, Oyster 100 Sarafin marked the successful conclusion of the first phase of a long-term project, which brought together the award-winning trio of Dubois Naval Architects, Oyster Yachts and RMK Marine. She provided a sophisticated entry into superyacht ownership, with the specification and features of much larger yachts, and the added benefit of all-composite construction, making her far lighter than her rivals. The Oyster 100 has a raised saloon that offers a panoramic view. This leads forward and down below decks to a more intimate lounge and separate dining area. Sarafin follows the standard Oyster 100 accommodation layout, with a crew mess, galley and two crew cabins located forward of the main living area. The master suite and two guest staterooms are found aft with accommodation in place for up to eight guests. Flexible guest accommodation is provided with the inclusion of two large single beds fitted on slide rails to create two double beds when required, while two additional pullman beds can be added for hosting additional guests. A six-cabin variant was made available during the production of the Oyster 100, offering a fourth double guest cabin forward. Oyster 100 Sarafin registered as a finalist for her exterior design and styling in the 2012 Showboats Design Awards, and received a special commendation as the best 30-40m sailing yacht in the 2012 World Superyacht Awards. Tem peixes gigantes, que chegam a pesar 90 Kgs! Fomos almoçar no restaurante Tambaqui de Banda, onde, claro, comemos um tambaqui de banda, acompanhado de farofa de banana (com farinha da uarini), uma delícia. Fomos de transfer até o porto de microonibus, com todas as malas, e fizemos nosso checkin no hotel barco Iberostar Grand Amazon, um hotel de rio 5 estrelas com pensão completa (all inclusive). Fizemos um tour do quarto mostrando todos os detalhes do quarto. Depois de instalados jantamos no restaurante Kuarup, com um buffet excelente e muita sobremesa gostosa. Terminamos o dia com um pouco de mágica, durante o jantar e depois no show de mágica no teatro do barco, onde a Dri e eu fomos até o palco! How to build a custom super yacht. The super yacht industry is rich with a variety of vessels in all shapes and sizes. You should never judge a shipyard by the appearance of the yacht though - certainly not where custom yachts are concerned - since they are really more of a reflection of the designer than the builder. This video takes you through the basic steps of the conception, creation, and completion of a super yacht and the importance of putting together a good team of people. In this episode we hike up Mount Yasur in Vanuatu, which is an active volcano which is constantly spitting hot lava up into the air. We spent some minutes up at the crater before deciding that being there was a bad idea. The volcano felt like it could erupt at any moment.
