I had the question recently regarding my internet and cable on the boat. Well as a full time live-aboard it is nice to have my own internet and the marina I am at provides the cable. On 12 June 2014, we were very lucky to be in North Lombok and to be present for the opening ceremony for a local cultural festival. Many young people from around the Regency dressed in their finest costumes, (and some not so young!) and paraded to the ceremony grounds to present themselves and their cultural performance (some traditional, some contemporary) to the Regent after he officially opened the event. It was fun to see the interpretation of some traditional dance and music. The most exotic to us were the gongs and the big drums. We thank the Regent of N Lombok and the Head of Tourism, to allow us to film, and we thank Sas, Manager of Medana Bay Marina to alert us that this festival was happening and to take us to see it.
