Halfway there. We've been working on the electric issues off and on for three weeks. It's been pretty tough for me, since this is mostly over my head and I'm learning as I go. A BIG thanks to every online who was giving me advice as I went on facebook and r/mechanicadvice We have a no spark issue on a 1992 Dodge Ram Camper with a 360 5.9L V8. Bought it then passed its safety and got about 5 km from the garage after turning it off and back on three times, and coming up on an intersection it cut out. After unplugging the ECU connection and reconnecting it it fired up again and ran fine for a day then died and hasn't started since. ECU is definitely fried, and it seems like our charge isolator was also screwed, which may have cause over charging from the upgraded alternator. Additionally the cabin batteries were disconnected and frozen, so most likely toast. This may have all started there, which caused the isolator to fry, then the ECU and potentially other electronics.

10 June 2014 was the opening day of the international Bali and Beyond Travel Fair held at the Convention Center in Nusa Dua, the newest area of tourism development on Bali. As media participants, we were invited to tour the venue and visit the booths from all over Indonesia. From Borobudur to Papaua, the many facets of Indonesia were represented, all attempting to draw those in the tourist trade to encourage visitors from their country to come. That evening, we were invited to an al fresco hosted buffet, first of a myriad of appetisers and drinks, then a buffet of typical Indonesian spicy specialties. The most impressive part was the fabulous entertainment: first, an elaborate Balinese dance with dazzling costumes and headdresses bedecking the dancers who ressembled annimated dolls with bobbing heads and gygrating eyes, Then a very unusual and unique musical instrument, made of palm leaves, and finishing with a dance from Tana Toraja of South Sulawesi. We thank the organizers of the "Bali and Beyond" Travel Fair, and all those who appeared in this film.

As guests of Bali and Beyond Travel Fair, we were invited to experience the Bali Safari and Marine Park. This place is as well marketed and run as any park of its sort in any large American city, just on a smaller island scale. The daliy program is well marked out, the pace keeps people moving but not over congested. The displays and activity areas are well done. The Marine Park is at this time only a small aquarium area, The Elephant show was educational and entertaining. The "zoo" tour was well orchestrated, altho it is hard to see animals confined to specific areas, even if the park gives them as much space as it can. The lunch buffet was also well-orchestrated to handle large crowds and was copious with lots of quality fresh ingredients. There was an elaborate stage performance depicting a well known Balinese story in a huge theatre in the afternoon, but filming was not allowed. The only congestion in the park was the depositing of, and the recovery of photographic gear before and after the show. For those who like animal parks and large crowd attractions it is well done, you can tell a lot of attention has been played to logistics. We ourselves like smaller scale activities with more personal interaction with local people and endemic surroundings.

Harken Tech Team in Cape Town to service the 65's. 1.Harken technicians removed all eight winches from the boat and took them to our workshop within the Volvo boatyard where they were cleaned and inspected. 2.Cape Town was a partial service level so all pawl springs were replaced. 3.The winches were then reassembled and lubricated onboard the boat. 4.The drive system, including three MX pedestals, four 606 gear boxes, and one X- Box were visually inspected and any work required carried out.

This day finds us sailing 'Sophisticated Lady' down the coast of St Lucia on our way to St Vincent.. we decided to break the trip up with a stop at the Pitons National Park at the south end of St Lucia. Saint Lucia is one of the most mountainous Caribbean islands and of its numerous peaks the ones which will most surely stick in your mind are the Pitons. Together they’re the country’s number one landmark, but these aren’t so much 'mountains' in the normal sense, as dramatic, conical outcrops looming over the sea. Gros Piton is the larger of the two (the other one being – logically enough – Petit Piton). It’s a popular climbing destination but a glance at its steep slopes will tell you it’s no walk in the park, especially in the tropical heat. But if you’ve got some climbing experience, your ascent to the 2,619 foot (786 meter) summit will reward you with awe-inspiring views of the sapphire blue sea and lush green coastline.
