My DIY (Do It Yourself) sailboat restoration is in full swing. In this video, I though briefly on cost. Both the purchase price and what it costs to keep Athena up on the hard here in Denmark. This video is two days early (i usually purplish on Sundays). I took a couple of half days this week because the office was completely empty. The video is from one of those days. NB! Please know that all cursing in this video was purely an attempt at humor. I love my new boat!

Como o espaço para estocagem de alimentos é restrito, temos que estabelecer alguns critérios para "fazer o supermercado": • Hábitos alimentares. Pra não mudar muito a rotina e preservar o bem-estar da tripulação, priorizamos itens dos quais não gostaríamos de abrir mão. • Prazo de validade x Quantidade. Não adianta levar uma quantidade grande de um item que tem prazo de validade curto. • Disponibilidade e qualidade. Itens que a gente consome bastante e que no Brasil são de fácil acesso e de ótima qualidade. Feijão, cachaça e café, por exemplo. • Dificuldade de embarque. Itens que, embora possam ser comprados em outros países, temos dificuldade de embarcá-los, ou por não estarmos em marina ou por não haver supermercado próximo. Evitamos carregar peso e transportar compras no bote. Então, é melhor gastar tempo e energia agora na organização, para depois gastá-los curtindo e explorando o novo porto. Pra que essa proposta dê certo é fundamental pensar no armazenamento. Como no barco estamos vulneráveis a umidade e a possíveis alagamentos nos porões (água salgada ou doce), evitamos as latas (ferrugem) e guardamos grande parte dos alimentos em embalagens a vácuo e em garrafas pet. Victoire de Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne dans le raid côtier de Hyères Après une interminable période de disette, Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne a signé sa troisième victoire, mercredi, en s’imposant dans le raid côtier de Hyères. Deuxième, Grandeur Nature Véranda a trouvé l’énergie pour limiter les dégâts au classement : deuxième du jour, il reste le dauphin de Team Lorina Limonade – Golfe du Morbihan pour un tout petit point. Depuis 1978, des milliers de régatiers ont découvert les côtes françaises, ont été refoulés par les courants de la Manche, ont demandé leur position aux pêcheurs bretons ou se sont fait coucher par du Mistral. D’une joyeuse course-croisière, le Tour de France à la Voile est devenu une belle école de course au large pour de nombreux équipages amateurs et jeunes marins talentueux, puis une compétition de haut niveau avec la présence de grands champions. And the two best Olympic athletes in Brazil are sailors: Robert Scheidt and Torben Grael who have won five medals each. Another Grael, Torben’s brother Lars, has jumped on the Olympic podium twice so the Grael family has seven Olympic medals and have an opportunity to get more in Rio… Torben will guide the Brazilian sailors as the team coach, but he will also advise two of them as a father: Marco Grael e Gabriel Borges will race in the 49er and Martine Grael e Kahena Kunze are one of the favorites in the 49erFX after being crowned world champions in 2014 and taking the silver in the 2013 and 2015 Worlds. A quelques encablures de la fin de l’édition 2016, si la victoire semble promise à Team Lorina Limonade – Golfe du Morbihan de gros matches maintiennent le peloton sous pression. Depuis 1978, des milliers de régatiers ont découvert les côtes françaises, ont été refoulés par les courants de la Manche, ont demandé leur position aux pêcheurs bretons ou se sont fait coucher par du Mistral. D’une joyeuse course-croisière, le Tour de France à la Voile est devenu une belle école de course au large pour de nombreux équipages amateurs et jeunes marins talentueux, puis une compétition de haut niveau avec la présence de grands champions. Le Diam 24 marque le début d'une nouvelle ère sur le Tour de France à la Voile.
