It is only a month away from the end of hurricane season in Florida and we are projected to get a direct hit from a monster category 4 storm. We are not located in an evacuation area and both of us are familiar with the hurricane preparation drills being from tropical areas. We help family and friends and get all our supplies and hurricane shutters up. We get gas, propane and fill up tubs and containers for water. We had a great time with 4 days of anchoring out and we left on Saturday afternoon so we could fly to Houston to meet my brother and his wife on Saturday night for a visit.
