A abertura da Refeno 2025 foi simplesmente incrível! Durante esses dias também tivemos um momento emocionante: a despedida da minha mãe, que veio nos visitar por alguns dias e encheu o barco de carinho e boas risadas. Nous prenons une route superbe bordeé de hêtres et de bouleaux dans le Massif du telemark arrêt pour spot de nuit Gaustatoppen au bord du lac Heddersvetn, Nous continuons sur la magnifique à travers le Telemark où les paysages sont grandioses parsemés de lacs encore gelés..., des pistes encore enneigées, puis des tunnels toujours des tunnels qui débouchent sur des paysages surprenant de beauté, on en prend plein les yeux...Alors monte avec nous pour ce premier apperçu de la Norvege.. Çanakkale Boğazı'ndan çıkıp 36 saat içerisinde Knidos Burnu'nu döndüm. Bir günde 160 mil yol yaptım. Fırtına ilk 24 saat şiddetini hiç kaybetmedi. Rüzgar hızı Fourni'de 50 knot'a kadar çıktı. Çanakkale çıkışından sonra Midilli'ye gelirken dalgalar iyice büyüdü. Gece dalgalar daha sakin olur diye Çeşme kanalına girmek istedim ama İzmir körfezinden gelen büyük dalgalara karşı ilerleyemedim. Tekrar Sakız Adası'nın batısına döndüm. Gün batımı ile Sakız'ın kel tepelerinden 45 knot rüzgar indirdi. Bir rüzgarsızlık ve tekrar stabil 35 knot rüzgar Sakız'ın güneyinden geçip Fourni'ye rota tuttum. Sabaha karşı yorgunluktan bayılmışım. Fourni'yi geçtikten sonra hava sakinledi, Knidos'a vardığımda artık kalmıştı.

After months sailing through remote Indonesia with no access to parts or services, we finally reached Thailand — and dove headfirst into a jam-packed week of boat projects.

We set sail from beautiful Orpheus Island and made our way out to John Brewer Reef, one of the most unique spots on the Great Barrier Reef. Picking up a mooring right on the reef, we had front-row access to crystal-clear aquamarine water, vibrant coral, and an underwater experience like no other – the Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA). Snorkelling around the sculptures was both surreal and breathtaking, with marine life weaving through the artwork, making it feel like nature and art had become one. Add to that some incredible reef scenery, sunshine, and perfect conditions – and this was an unforgettable stop that truly lived up to the hype. Every sail out to the reef builds our confidence, and this trip was one for the memory books – a must-do if you’re sailing or snorkelling around Townsville. Thanks for watching. The winds aligned with Jupiter and Mars while leaving the sun shining in the bright sky. This was truly a rare event, where our son Ben, his wife Alicia, and our four grandchildren, with Monica up from Florida, and Reed, were all able to join us for a day of sailing. The winds were the right strength and from the right direction to allow us to make the lighthouse run. This is a nice sail crossing the Chesapeake Bay and going south on Maryland’s Eastern Shore to round the Hooper Island Lighthouse and back again. This is a nice day sail and provides a destination rather than sailing randomly back and forth. We leave Puteri Harbour and make our way back through the busy Singapore Strait, dodging countless cargo ships and fast ferries along the way. After a long day navigating one of the world’s busiest waterways, we drop anchor at Jason’s Bay—where things take an unexpected turn. A floating island drifts straight toward the anchored boats, and in true No Regrets II fashion, Chris and Marty decide to “claim” it as their own new territory!
