Despite our troubles first thing in the morning we eventually were able to make it out to the Reefs edge in order to catch live ballyhoo to drop down to the bottom as live bait. In our first five minutes of fishing we quickly double up on two big mutton snapper. There after we go through tips techniques and how tos’ on how to catch mutton snapper. We also go over rigs how to hook baits and basically X Y & Z based on how to go out to the reef and be successful mutton snapper fishing in the Florida Keys. There after we head home to do a clean and cook to show you our delicious Cajun salsa mutton snapper recipe. Enjoy!

We begin the day catching small live bait in return for big deep sea fish. After that we venture out to the Islamorada hump to live bait chum mahi-mahi and blackfin tuna to the surface. Thereafter we fill the box with more than enough tuna and dolphin which we the decided to make a move to try and deep drop for grouper. After a couple drops we eventually acquired a catch and we decided to make the long run home. Upon our arrival back towards shore we were greeted with the crystal clear aqua blue water that lines the Florida Keys. I couldn’t resist getting in the water as we were running over one of my lobster spots. Therefore I hopped in grabbed two lobsters, one for me one for Stephanie and then finally made it home. After arrival we show you guys how to clean a lobster and mahi-mahi and then, take it upstairs to Stephanie as she shows us how to prepare a beautiful fish piccata meal.

Hi everyone and welcome to our SailingTripFamily Youtube Channel. As promised this is the whole video about our Panama Canal crossing. It took around 11 hours and we had a such nice day.  To cross this canal we have to pass 3 locks, the first one is “Gatun”, the second one “Pedro Miguel”, and the last one “Miraflores”. Each lock is composed of 2 or 3 gates. It’s so impressive to pass those gates behind those huge container ships, and the current is so strong but fortunately ropes from the peer maintain us. We have to use our own engines to keep going but small trains along the peer pull the big ships. Like Abraham Lincoln said “ In the end, it’s not the years in your life count, it’s the life in your years”          …..  Enjoy !!! When power poles first came out there was a lot of question and controversy, but as the years go on, power pole continues to stand their ground in the marine and boating industry. First impressions may lead you as a nonbeliever but as time goes on through the use of various powerful products I am convinced. On the other hand some may disagree due to the price point.
