Two Dazcat 1195s were built by Multimarine in 2013, in their boatyard in Cornwall. This is the launch of the second, Rock Steady, in July. A week later it was taking the owner's family off on a cruise, but it could just as well have been racing - this versatile semi-production catamaran design is happy doing both. We're very happy with the level of build quality Multimarine achieved, and delighted to see another Dazcat 1195 on the water.

Our morning excursion exceeded all expectations. Calabaza was a great catamaran, the crew was friendly and more than accommodating. From the moment we stepped on the boat, we were greeted with smiles, snacks and drinks. Throughout the excursion, the crew took us to some great snorkeling spots, fed us a wonderful lunch and kept our drinks full the length of the trip. Definitely a highlight of the cruise... as my wife said, "we saved the best for last"

It's the end of our season in the Northern Caribbean, so today our journey starts as we head to the South Caribbean for hurricane season!
