Our morning excursion exceeded all expectations. Calabaza was a great catamaran, the crew was friendly and more than accommodating. From the moment we stepped on the boat, we were greeted with smiles, snacks and drinks. Throughout the excursion, the crew took us to some great snorkeling spots, fed us a wonderful lunch and kept our drinks full the length of the trip. Definitely a highlight of the cruise... as my wife said, "we saved the best for last"

We took the Spencer Ambrose Jalousie Beach Break when our ship (Jewel of the Sea) was in port in St Lucia. Most folks took a land and sea tour but we opted for just the beach break. There was just the three of us on the boat with a couple that was headed to climb the Pitons that we dropped off before hitting Jalousie Beach The snorkeling in this protected marine reserve is great...IF you get there early! About noon, when the land tours drop off guests here, the water gets pretty churned up and sea life is scarce. Fortunately we got there around 10 am and had a few hours with little to no one else there, and it was fantastic! We were also supplied with a great lunch and plenty of various cold beverages including water, soda and beer. About 2:30 we headed back into the boat with some guests from the land tour for the sea tour back to the ship. The guide was knowledgeable and amusing and we had a few laughs while we learned a little about the island and took in some beautiful scenery including Marigot Harbour (which I didn't get any video of cuz the battery died... thanks Obama). All in all, it was a great day.

A fantastic day on the water on an excursion thru Soualiga Destinations, Captain Bob's Day Snorkel. A tour of Saint Martin from a fast boat with a great Captain/Guide and some excellent people. Included stops at prime, cozy snorkel areas without crowds. The weather was perfect even with the occasional stray showers of "liquid sunshine". Lunch was delicious and the beaches were beautiful. Hard to top a day like this

Our excursion with Blue Water Safaris in Saint Kitts (1/2 day light lunch) had us on a huge catamaran, but with very few people. It took us to Shitten Bay where there was a wide open area to snorkel. A very laid back day and the crew were fantastic. After a light lunch it was open bar and a very nice sail towards Nevis and back to the dock.

We wrap up the week-long trip but cruising south on the east coast of Tortola back to the Sunsail marina in Road Town. We're met with a Sunsail crewman and he navigates the boat into a tight spot on the dock where we spend our last night aboard. Early the next morning we pack up and lower the family flag, concluding an amazing vacation.

The boys take the cat out of White Bay for us and we skirt the island north and do a little sightseeing around Little Jost and Sandy Cay before crossing over to Cane Garden Bay. We wandered around the town and beach for awhile and stopped off for a few drinks watching the pelican diving at Sailor's Rest Bar & Grill before heading back to the boat for a sunset dinner and a quiet evening aboard.

A quick stop at Soper's before heading over to Jost Van Dyke. We first try to find a mooring ball in White Bay, but no success... so we moor up in Great bay and dinghy back over to White Bay for the afternoon. On our way there, we spot a vacant mooring ball and leave one group with the ball while we go back and get the cat. When the dust settles, we head to The Soggy for some Painkillers where we met the nicest guy, Art. Many painkilers later we head over to Foxy's for dinner and karaoke before the dinghy back to the Cat for the night.

After a quick stop at Soper's Hole for water and replenishing some provisions, we headed over to Norman Island and the famous Willy T's. After a few drinks and a few splashes we spent a quiet night moored in the Bight Bay

We leave the paradise that is Anegada and head back through the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Some of the video got a lil foggy and the water was a lil choppy but it was a great day for the sail south to Soper's Hole for more provisions.

Arriving in Anegada just before noon, we dinghy around the west end of the island near Walk Over Set Point and do a little snorkeling. Afterwards, we raise our family flag that we purchased the night before at Saba Rock.
