E i propositi sono grandi !!! We've finally extended our pushpit, and we were invited to the Loi Kathrong full-moon lantern festival and the ordination of a young monk.

Today I left my marina in Richmond and travelled down the Fraser River, across the Straight of Georgia, through Active Pass and finally to Ganges which is located on Saltspring Island. Although the forecast was for strong Easterly winds, it was more of a South East wind. I sailed close hauled from the mouth of the Fraser River to Active Pass with just the headsail as it was much too windy for my genoa and full main. At a top event this year, Dutch helm Annemiek Bekkering sailed with her coach, Rick Peacock. It was interesting for all involved to have a top 49er crew in the fleet for a week.

After two incredible months in Raja Ampat the crew pulls up the hook and sets sail for Ternate Island in the Muluku Province. We see squalls, calms, and wind from every direction.
