Aber auch nach diesem Manöver landet Uschi irgendwann auf dem Vorwindkurs und müsste wieder eine Halse fahren um zurück zum Motorboot zu kommen. Er legt dafür als Ziel die Boje aus. Den Anker wirft er diesmal lieber nicht ins Wasser weil er befürchtet ihn nachher wieder zu vergessen. Uschi und Wolle sollen jetzt in einer Bootslänge Abstand parallel zur Lee-Luv- Linie in Richtung Boje segeln und dann auf diese aufschießen. Uschi überlegt nicht lange. Sie sieht, dass sich Käpten Sailnator mit seinem Motorboot in Luv der Boje befindet. Sie beobachtet die Wellen die gerade unter der Boje durchgehen und versucht parallel dazu in Lee in ungefähr einer Bootslänge Abstand zu bleiben. Auf Höhe der Boje steuert sie in den Wind und gibt das Kommando: „Schoten los!".
