On a Christmas Eve squall, we almost losing our stern anchor, making a quick rescue with some extra line and a fender. As we explore the village of Abre Ojos, we learn a bit about the local fishing coop, which is a big part of life here. Exploring Göcek, Turkey. Leaving the beautiful bay of Bozukkale we sail East along the Turkish coastline heading for Ekincik. With the intention of exploring Dalyan and the tombs at Kaunos, we search for a river taxi that won’t rip us off! A wedding on the beach gives us a brief moment of entertainment, but with little to stay for we head onward's to Asi Koyu. It’s crystal clear waters entice us to snorkel and the tombstoner's give us plenty of entertainment. Sailing further East we navigate our way into Göcek. This is where we purchased Kejstral only 6 Months previous, but it seems a lot longer. We have learnt so much and seen so many places in this time, but Gocek has a special place in our hearts.
