It drips a bit form some of the portlights when it rains hard and I attempt to fix the problem by sealing the rubber edge with some Trans 7 clear. Time will show if it will work, another option is to replace the rubber edge If my attempt is a failure.

Heaving to is an important skill that is often overlooked. It is an excellent storm tactic and it can be used to "park" the boat in open water that is too deep to anchor. I recommend practicing heaving to in fair weather so when things are rough you can do it without have to think too much.

'Too much sail and not enough boat' is the unwritten axiom that has underpinned the development of the famous Sydney Harbour skiffs for more than 130 years. And never was that maxim more true than for the smallest of the historic skiffs, the tiny 6 footer sometimes known as The Balmain Bug. During approach, this Apache destroyed a whole bunch of trees and landed right beside a crowd of people watching and waiting for the helicopter to show up. Lukily, nobody was injured by the falling trees !! This video was recorded in 2017 when the german army presented their equipment... well, the Apache does not belong to the german army, so (I guess) they called the US Army for helping them out with an Apache ;)
