I know we said this was our furthest point North... But screw it, we're gonna sail right up to the Canadian Border! After getting a tip about a deserted island with a good anchorage and cool exploring we set off in the fog. Cross Island is reported to have great hiking, a protected anchorage, an old coastguard station and if you believe in horror stories there are rumors about a haunted treasure buried on the island too. And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Fabio made fried lobster bites for an appetizer, lobster and butternut squash pasta, sounds weird I know, but trust me it was delicious, and sole with swiss chard. Everything was amazing! Boat life means limited resources like gas and water. So we wanted to make this meal using the least amount of resources possible.
