Pinned against the South American Coast, Trying to Sail WEST! Ep148

To sail from Panama to the Galapagos, we were told to head South on this passage until you reach the trade winds but we didn't realise how South you had to go or how difficult this may be and that we may also end up going North West and South East while trying to get West. The other thing that made this passage particulary challenging was dodging the lightening storms and dealing with the not so nice weather. Oh well I guess that is sailing.....
