Visiting a concert of the artist The Weeknd has been on my wish list for a long time. I like a lot of his songs and this singer's voice is very beautiful with a lot of soul and falsetto. I saw that The Weeknd would perform in Nice in football stadium Allianz Riviera and was still able to get tickets! It was a great concert! The 34,000 fans and we were very excited to hear the artist sing so well. We enjoyed many of his songs such as Starboy, I feel it coming, Take my breathe, The Hills, Sacrifice, Die for you, With the big hit 'Blinding Lights' the stadium really exploded, everyone was jumping and singing. I made a compilation of the 3 songs I filmed with my phone and that I liked best: - Moth to a flaw (the hit with Swedish House Mafia) - In Your Eyes - Blinding Lights I hope you enjoy all the songs and the great decor with lights as well!

Emerson and Ruby had their birthdays this week, so we threw a party with friends and had a fun time! Ruby got the hang of riding a dirt bike, and the kids had a blast tearing around our property. The we went on a bike ride on a trail near the house, with stunning red leaves everywhere. Next stop - Paris Ice Cave. We stepped foot in Idaho to visit this one, which was pretty cool... literally 😅 Nature is so fascinating! Then we went for a horseback ride! It was such a wonderful experience. After our few days up North, we went back down to Southern Utah, where we checked up on more of our properties. There are a lot of exciting work being done! L'échelle de ce bateau présente des traces de rouille. Le gel dérouillant passivant inox, le NETTINOX de Matt Chem est le produit idéal pour rendre sa jeunesse à ces pièces métalliques. Il s'applique au pinceau. Sa consistance en gel évite les coulures et, en restant sur la surface, favorise le travail chimique du produit. Inutile d'en mettre beaucoup mais plutot bien passer partout dans les moindre recoins. Il faut ensuite laisser le produit agir pendant 7 à 12 minutes. Juste attendre, pas besoin de frotter. On rince ensuite à l'eau claire pour supprimer le NETTINOX. Toutes les traces de rouille ont disparu et l'échelle redevient comme neuve.

Follow our journey of pre-season boat preparation from winter storage to launch day. Sometimes it raises the question of whether the time and effort are worth the result. At least for now, the answer is definitely "yes". It can at times be challenging. It can be maddingly frustrating. But it can also be satisfying bringing a sense of accomplishment. Thanks for watching. This video is not the most entertaining. But we hope it gives an accurate picture of what is involved in boat ownership. It is more than just fun in the sun. There is also work that needs to be done to get the boat ready and in full working order for those beautiful summer days. Despite an occasional complaint, I do enjoy, and look forward to, working on the boat in the Spring. It brings a sense of accomplishment along with building the excitement for the upcoming season. We have added a Raymarine AIS 700 along with its associated antenna and related equipment to the Raymarine Axiom Chartplotter that we added last year. In Episode 56 of the Sailing Goat Series, we step off the boat thinking we’re about to join the Preveza Carnival celebrations… but we couldn’t have been more wrong. Instead of music and costumes, we find the entire city dressed in black, mourning a national tragedy—a train wreck in 2023 that claimed over 50 lives, linked to government corruption. What we thought was going to be a party turned into a powerful and emotional moment of reflection. Despite the unexpected shift in mood, the week brought a few sailing wins. We received our new petrol electric generator, and it worked wonders—charging the boat batteries while running the watermaker at the same time. Efficiency unlocked! Meanwhile, Max tried his luck with another DIY project—Frankensteining two Victron cables into one. Let’s just say… it’s not looking too promising. 💃 Carnival Confusion Turned Memorial March: We geared up to celebrate Carnival in Preveza but walked right into a nationwide protest and day of mourning, commemorating the victims of a devastating 2023 train crash. A moment that reminded us sailing is about witnessing all aspects of life ashore—not just the fun stuff. ⚡ Petrol Generator Game-Changer: Our new petrol electric generator arrived and instantly became a hero on board. For the first time, we were able to charge the house batteries and run the watermaker at the same time, giving us a huge boost in self-sufficiency. 🧪 Victron Cable Experiment: Max took on another boat project, attempting to merge two Victron cables into one for a custom setup. Remember the bearing we replaced in Vigo — the one we hoped would stop the squeaking and remove the play? Yeah… it didn’t. And when we finally dug into it again, we realised the brand new €500 bearing missed 0,5-1 mm. Which coursed the same noise, same play and same headache. So we secured the rudder (yes, again… in the water), tapped the old bearing back in and found a shipyard in Lagos who could actually help us. Luckily, a yard took us in and made a new custom bearing in just one day. A VERY snug fit — but that’s what we wanted. In this video, we’ve begun the long trek south from Cairns back to Brisbane – we will do over 780 nautical miles all up (depending on how many detours we take!). It took us 185 days to meander our way north, but with only 25 days to get south of Gladstone for insurance, we’re now doing some big sailing days to make it happen. Part 1 of the journey covers Cairns to Cape Gloucester – 309nm in just six days! We’re tired but it was worth every mile to have squeezed in a few more days exploring the Great Barrier Reef. The Queensland coastline is huge, and this leg included Kym’s second-ever night sail… which we accidentally did in total darkness after miscalculating the moonrise! But we made it, safe and salty, ready to gear up for Part 2 as we continue the push south toward Gladstone. Hi, I’m Camille — and this is Shelly 🐾 We live full-time on our sailboat Stella Overboard in the middle of Malaysia… and right now, it’s just us girls because Jesse is away doing FIFO work in the Australian mines. So what does a day actually look like living alone on a boat in Southeast Asia? Well… a lot happens. 😅 Today I’m: ⛽️ Filling our water tanks and running the engine 💧 Filtering marina water so nothing nasty grows in our tanks 🧽 Cleaning and UV-protecting all our clears (Malaysia’s sun is no joke) 🚪 Fixing the bathroom door after our holding tank exploded (yes… exploded) ❄️ Defrosting our freezer for the millionth time 🛠️ Attempting multiple DIY repairs with Shelly as my “assistant” ☕️ Making coffee on our new espresso machine 💨 Cleaning dusty fans, polishing surfaces, and keeping our tiny home livable 🌧 Enjoying the rain at the end of monsoon season 🎥 And ending the night at the Langkawi night market with friends Boat life isn’t glamorous — it’s real, messy, nonstop work… But every day I get better, stronger, and a little more proud of the life we’re building.
