We explore the stunning — and seriously steep — Devil’s Bridge Waterfalls in Wales. Before we even get started, we have to figure out which entrance to use (spoiler: the two routes don’t connect!). Jane quickly discovers this is no ordinary walk — the trail includes over 600 steps, some at a 45-degree angle, making it completely inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues. EPISODE 008 – Sailing from Mallorca to Menorca | Finding Peace Before the Storm In this episode, we sail KAIA (our Lagoon 440 catamaran) across the channel from Mallorca to Menorca on a shorter but beautiful offshore passage. We arrive just in time for sunset, dropping anchor in the calm waters of Cala De Amarrado. As the season begins to wind down, we explore the stunning northern coast of Menorca with our three sailing dogs —finding true magic in the anchorage of Cala Algaiarens. Here, we slow down, reconnect with nature, and take time to ground ourselves. Vika holds sacred ceremony inspired by her Mayan learnings, and we soak in the peace this anchorage offers. But the weather soon shifts, and we prepare for the arrival of a powerful Mistral storm. We sail to the well-protected bay of Fornells, where we ride out 50-knot winds in complete calm. After restocking and taking the dogs to shore, we continue our coastal journey, catching a fish off Isla d’en Colom and anchoring just outside the entrance to Mahón as the sun sets. We are in NC on the Pongo River, if you don't know where that is... the closest town to us is Bell Haven, NC. We are off on river chute to wait out the storm on anchor. We are currently in 12 ft of water with just over 200 ft of chain out... So far only cloudy skies and no wind or rain. We will keep you updated through the storm.
