Recorrido: Stromboli, realizando la excursión a pie hasta uno de los miradores para ver las erupciones del volcán, Panarea la isla de lujo, pero durmiéndotelas en la parte oeste viendo la la espectacular puesta del sol, Salina donde nos refugiamos en la parte este del viento y la tormenta, Filicudi espectacular la piedra vertical que sale del agua, Lipari la parte mejor es la del oeste donde tiene unos rincones increíbles con cuevas y playas, Vulcano la subida al Volcán increíble aunque no está en erupcionamos no decepciona ver el crater, en el agua en la parte este cerca de la playa las burbujas que salen del fondo del mar y su agua caliente impresionan. Parking at the Admiralty Marina in Penang, exploration begins with a tour of Fort Cornwallis, the historic base of the East India Trading Company. Then, we hike up Penang Hill and through the biosphere reserve at the top. Penang is known for their diversity of delicious food, and we find several great food courts with amazing variety and great prices. Ab jetzt hat jeder vorübergehend seinen eigenen Rumpf und ich desinfiziere mich mit Ouzo. Es wirkt: ich stecke mich nicht an! We have visitord on board for a fortnight. My son Flori and his girlfriend Lea want to sail with us through the Saronic Gulf. We start in Varkiza, sail with them to the Temple of Aphaia on Aegina and on to the cosy village of Poros. After a few days, we unfortunately have to make our way back to Varkiza. Then it's time to say goodbye. The two of us sail back to Poros on a wild ride. There, Dirk infects a friend with coronavirus. From now on, everyone has their own hull temporarily and I disinfect myself with ouzo. It works: I don't get infected!

Unser Segelboot Squib, ein Catalac 9M, ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Verkleidung hängt teilweise von der Decke, die Farbe blättert ab, die Elektrik auf dem Stand des vorigen Jahrtausends,..... Ein Refit steht an. Doch Broterwerb und Verpflichtungen lassen es nicht zu, monatelang in Griechenland am Boot zu arbeiten. Da wird schon 2018 die Idee geboren Squib nach Wien zu bringen, wo man jederzeit Zugang hat, der Einkauf von Material in der Muttersprache abgewickelt werden kann und alles Andere seinen gewohnten Verlauf nimmt. 2021 war es dann endlich soweit, mit zwei komplett überholten Motoren und einem neuen Geräteträger starteten wir Anfang Juli Richtung Südfrankreich.Leider hatten wir für die gesamte Reise nur zwei Monate Zeit, deswegen hieß es die meiste Zeit Strecke machen. Doch manchmal nahmen wir uns die Zeit zu verweilen, uns Orte näher anzuschauen. Seitdem lag Squib in der Wiener Kuchelau, und der Refit hatte begonnen. Am 17 August 2025 ist es wieder so weit. Obwohl Squib noch nicht ganz fertig ist, werfen wir die Leinen los und starten unsere erste Etappe donauabwärts. Dreieinhalb Wochen später erreichen wir das Donaudelta, der Mast wird gestellt, ein passendes Wetterfenster abgewartet, in zwei Sclägen überqueren wir das Schwarze Meer bis zum Bosporus. Ohne Einzuklarieren mit gehisster Q Flagge durchqueren wir die Türkei und erreichen 5 Tage später die Ägäis. Über Limnos und die nördlichen Sporaden segeln wir bis in den Großraum Athen, von wo aus Sabina nach Hause fliegt, weil ihr Urlaub zu Ende ist.
