Unless weather gets below freezing for extended days, our final sail of the season is usually on Thanksgiving's long weekend. We then winterize the boat and take any canvas or Sails that need mending over the winter. Although, I didn't show any of the winterizing steps in this video. Perhaps next year as it took us a couple years to get more efficient at winterizing Matilda. Galactica will take me 20 minutes to winterize today. :)

The condition of the roads was also very good. The views around were also very good. Karachi is also called the city of lights and today I found this city very calm. Encore un beau week-end à Dieppe sur notre voilier. Même si la météo n'était pas au rendez-vous nous en avons bien profité. Une navigation dimanche d'environ 3h histoire de continuer la prise en main du bateau. Ce n'est pas toujours simple de gérer les envies des filles , la bonne marche du bateau , l'estomac qui doit s'amariner et de filmer en même temps. Et oui je n'ai pas encore changé ni les pavillons, ni rangé les pares-battages!!! Depois de reiterar por muitos anos que nunca teria um animal na minha casa, uma cadela pariu na porta da minha residência e fui "obrigado" a cuidar da mãe e de dois filhores. Não gostava desse bicho. Mas, a partir do sétimo mês de idade notei que o macho (o THOR) era muito apegado comigo. Então comecei a leva-lo diariamente nas minhas caminhadas. Criou-se, entre nós, uma amizade muito bonita e elogiada por pessoas amantes dos pets. Com o tempo, de forma natural e impeceptível, o cão passou a me obedecer em muita coisa, Inclisive não atravessandoa rua sem minha ordem. No mês que completei 66 anos, e o Thor 2,5 anos, por insistênica de amigos e principalmente da minha filha, comprei minha primeira bicicleta da vida. Quando fui pedalar a primeira vez meu corção partiu ao deixar meu amigo. Tentei coloco-lo no guidão, mas ele é grande e eu muito barbeiro. Então encostei a bike e não andei enquanto não comprei um reboque para puxá-lo. Como sou aventureiro por natureza, resolvi criar um desafio: sair de Morrinhos, GO, e chegar até Paraty, RJ, onde mora minha filha. This isn't an exciting video, but it's special to me. I never take it for granted that things like this are a daily part of my life. While having to dinghy to and from shore makes simple tasks, not so simple, it also provides me with some very magical moments. From the beauty of the sun setting over water, to dolphins swimming along nearby, and to getting to see a variety of styles of boats up close. Every day is like going to a boat show. It's all pretty special, and something I know I will remember when this journey ends.

In this Episode, we will document our First Cape Hatteras Rounding Inside the Gulf Stream. It's been a quite busy 8 months. We've finally gotten around to creating another video. In this video, we skip back to November of 2022 when we dropped While One into the water, waiting for our weather window to round Cape Hatteras. The weather was not cooperating and so we only made it to Beaufort, NC when we decided to rent a car and drive down to Sarasota, FL to be present for the delivery of our Pod. A hired captain would need to take While One down to Just Catamarans in Fort Lauderdale for our solar installation.
