In this weeks episode, we change our plans to deal with an unplanned project.   I went to the boat and noticed a system fault 135 error on the Xantrex ProSine 3.0 inverter and charger.  We end up troubleshooting and correcting the issue.  Sadly, like most things, we also uncover another problem, no wait, let's call it an opportunity. We show 3 great sanding hacks for round items.  This was a GREAT find and we were shocked at how well this works for sanding spindles.  I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, but this saved us hours in sanding and we now have a routine for the next few weeks for sanding and preparing the wooden spindles for varnish on the boat as the projects near completion. I make a trip out of town for work to Pheonix and spend some time with my work team.  It was a great time and we had some fun getting to fly over Lake Ponchartrain on the departure and some competitive local bar outdoor Jenga competitions. We see the non-skid go on the roof while out of town AND some major progress on the stainless steel handrails. We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Enfin ! c'est la dernière de la saison... Mais quelle course mes amis ! 2 jours à attendre la livraison d'essence c'est 2 jours de retard sur le planning. Résultat : retour directe à la grue en mode course, arrivée à 15h00 après une grosse navigation et un grutage prévu à 16h00. GROS STRESS en perspective, et beaucoup moins d'images que prévu... Mais bon, nous sommes arrivés à bon port c'est l'essentiel. Et reprise du boulot à la minute près! Fin de saison tardive, mais surtout... début de saison imminent. Equipage au poste de manoeuvre, la nouvelle saison commence bientôt. Tchuss de la cigogne.

We finalise the installation of our Simrad B and G autopilot FINALLY ... Can we go sailing now ?? I know we didn't fix the roof, strip and rebuild the deck saloon windows , re paint the deck and do the varnishing , but seriously it's been cold here ! Way to cold for epoxy to set and to wet to want to strip metalwork back for painting, so i guess we shall play catch up on those jobs during the summer.
