Designed by the Garroni group, the Prestige 620 impresses with the fine balance between the purity of its exterior design and the elegance of the light filled interior. The luxurious interior furnishings feature the finest materials, harmonious colours and a standard of equiment reserved for large cruising yachts. For absolute comfort on board, space was maximised in the enourmous saloon and separate dining area, in the 3 cabins - and in particular the central owners cabin - in the private head compartments and on the flybridge. High tech solutions such as infused moulded hulls and IPS propulsion system place the Prestige 620 at the cutting edge of current technology.

We've been patiently (and often times impatiently) waiting for the perfect weather window to embark on our very first Gulf Stream crossing. We left from Key Biscayne, FL before dawn and set out on a beautiful day of sailing to our next destination of Bimini, Bahamas. While the wind was light the seas were calm and the sun was shining, treating us to a great crossing. Once we arrived to our marina, Captain Keegan took a taxi to the airport to clear us through customs and immigration and get our cruising permit allowing us to stay in the country for 3 months. ::FOLLOW US:: Instagram: @sailingsummerfriday Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sailingsummerfriday/ Website: https://sailingsummerfriday.com ::SAILING SUMMER FRIDAY SWAG:: https://sailingsummerfriday.com/shop-sailing-summer-friday/ Are you down to summer friday? Diving in Koh Lipe is phenomenal unless you unluckily choose the 3 week period the coral spawns. But, in search of macro critters, the viz was little more than an annoyance and detraction from the gorgeous corals and scenery. Nonetheless, I was able to increase my nudibranch count and get a lot of 1:1 attention from my DM. In this video, I introduce the Pegasus Sea Moth, a bottom dweller and share some information about it which I think you will enjoy. They are bizarre creatures! Enjoy! #china #qingdao #covid19 #coronavirus #quarantine #quarantinelife #thailand #kohlipe #scuba #scubaDIVING NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia. So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too! As a viewer, we consider you to be part of our family and look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to comment on our videos and ask questions. We will do our best to answer every correspondence! All we ask is that you have patience with us as we work really hard to improve our camera/video techniques and ability to tell a story. Hopefully, you will be as BLOWN AWAY from watching, as we are in experiencing and producing our adventures! HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US? If you wish to support our video efforts, all we ask is that you SUBSCRIBE, give a THUMBS UP, SHARE our videos with your friends, AND COMMENT! WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET TO KNOW US MORE DEEPLY? Vivez l’aventure Fish of the Day à bord du Merry Fisher 795 ! Site internet: http://goo.gl/1jaV6G Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JeanneauFrance Twitter: https://twitter.com/EtsJeanneau

In which I begin the journey to bring Ladybug from Rhode Island to her new home on the fabled Hudson River. We traveled from Portsmouth down Rhode Island Sound to Point Judith, then hung a starboard across Block Island, Fishers Island and Long Island Sounds. We caught some Zs in Old Saybrook CT and found ourselves stuck in the morning mud at low spring tide. That evening we made it to Manhasset Bay, where we caught a mooring ball for a few hours until the tide was favorable for transiting Hell Gate and the East River at 2:30am. Catch the next episode for the East River passage. Ladybug is a 1976 Bristol 34. I mostly use a Pixel 3 to shoot my videos and I edit in Adobe Premiere. There are now over 2000 nautical miles in our wake since our departure from Turkey. The Spanish mainland is getting closer and closer and with it the Strait of Gibraltar - the gateway to the Atlantic. The list of repairs, overhauls and equipment renewals is getting longer and longer. Our next destination is Almerimar, where we want to work off the list. But first we sail across the Balearic Islands. From Menorca via Mallorca to Ibiza - and then to Cap d'Or, on the Spanish mainland. Along the way, we experience the best sailing day since we set out. And not only because we catch two Mahi Mahi. But where there is light, there is also shadow. And that is - once again - over the autopilot and the electrics.

Research has shown that this new type of drowning can happen very quickly, even though the person looks as if they might be OK. The US Coast Guard study on instinctive drowning response has been instrumental in reshaping our understanding of aquatic emergencies and refining rescue techniques. Conducted in the 1970s by Dr. Francesco A. Pia, the study challenged commonly held misconceptions about drowning and highlighted the need for greater awareness and training among rescuers. One of the key findings of the study was that drowning victims often exhibit behaviors that are markedly different from those depicted in popular media. Contrary to the dramatic splashing, waving, and shouting typically associated with drowning, victims in the throes of drowning often appear deceptively calm and may be unable to call for help due to their focus on gasping for air. This phenomenon, known as the instinctive drowning response, is a primal survival mechanism characterized by instinctual efforts to keep the airway above water. Understanding the instinctive drowning response is crucial for rescuers, as it allows them to recognize signs of distress even when victims are unable to signal for help. By identifying subtle cues such as head bobbing, vertical positioning in the water, and an inability to make purposeful movements, rescuers can intervene quickly and effectively to prevent drowning fatalities. Moreover, the Coast Guard study underscored the importance of education and training in water safety and rescue techniques. By disseminating accurate information about the instinctive drowning response and teaching individuals how to recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies, the study has helped save countless lives and reduce the incidence of drowning accidents. In response to the findings of the study, the US Coast Guard and other organizations have developed comprehensive training programs for lifeguards, first responders, and the general public. These programs emphasize the importance of vigilance, situational awareness, and prompt action in water-related emergencies, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge needed to prevent tragedies and save lives. Overall, the US Coast Guard study on instinctive drowning response has had a profound impact on water safety practices and rescue protocols, highlighting the importance of understanding the true nature of drowning and empowering individuals to respond effectively in emergency situations.
