[ EP 8 ] Long Island Sound Passage

In which I begin the journey to bring Ladybug from Rhode Island to her new home on the fabled Hudson River. We traveled from Portsmouth down Rhode Island Sound to Point Judith, then hung a starboard across Block Island, Fishers Island and Long Island Sounds. We caught some Zs in Old Saybrook CT and found ourselves stuck in the morning mud at low spring tide. That evening we made it to Manhasset Bay, where we caught a mooring ball for a few hours until the tide was favorable for transiting Hell Gate and the East River at 2:30am.
