All footages of this video were taken on a single dive at Larry's Heaven, located in Triton Bay, West Papua, Indonesia. Larry's Heaven is one of the most popular dive sites in Triton Bay. We were very excited about this dive and as we were just approaching the dive site, a huge pod of dolphins came to welcome us! We knew from that moment it was going to be an epic dive! Perfect conditions, smooth currents, just enough to make all the colorful soft and tubastreas corals open. A sunny day and clear visibility added warm tones to the color palette. Schooling of Fusiliers, Pinjalos, Snappers, colorful Anthias were there to complete the dreamy scenery. The beautiful Blue Ring Angelfish was the cherry on the top! Here is a 4 minute video of a dive that we didn't want to end. It was March 12th 2020 and we were at the end of a 12 days dive trip to remote locations with no internet and oblivious of the chaotic world out of our dreamy bubble. The dive site was named after Larry Smith, a legend who I hadn’t had the opportunity to meet personally but definitely influenced my (and many others) way of diving. He was a pioneer diving in many places in Indonesia and well known for his enthusiasm about the underwater world and charismatic personality. Through my journey in Indonesia I have heard so many stories about this man and I wished I had met him. Diving at Larry's Heaven in such perfect conditions, I finally felt like meeting him ❤️ Larry passed away in 2007, in West Papua. DIY Carpentry on a boat - Will it look good ? In this weeks episode we make repairs to our mainsail which was damaged in the stronger We are forced to look at repairing another of the bad "professionally" repaired locker lids as it has split, we decide it will be ultimately quicker and more economic to make a new one from the materials we still have on board #BlownAway The toilet pump is removed for service and we replace the pipework in readiness of many months at anchor with no shoreside facilities, likewise the water maker filters are replaced and the water maker is cleaned and serviced. Now we await better weather to continue our external repairs on the lockers and a few areas of paint that need taking back to bare metal, the windows need removal and the roof is coming off.... watch this space. Full video description: We are Easy Day Adventures, a family of four taking one adventure at a time. In this video series we are pointing North to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to go swimming up in the Arctic Ocean. Why? Because it’s there. Plus, it will make a great adventure for our growing boys who are learning how to dream BIG. Why not come along for the ride? Sometimes we live on our sailboat, other time we explore Terra Firma with our OVRLND rig. Either way, it’s always an adventure! In this video we joined up with our friends to spend three nights at their backcountry Alaskan cabin. Deshka Landing, near Willow, was our starting point, a boat and snowmobile launch on the Susitna River. Our friend Jack had arranged for a barge to take both of our families and all our gear to the cabin which required heading down the Susitna River and another 8 miles up the Yentna River. The boat ride was exciting and our river pilot expertly navigated each river exceptionally as he weaved his way through the gravel bars. Once arrived we settled in to learn about the area and how Jack had come across this unique property. Our time in the backcountry held several adventures. We rode ATVs several miles to their “neighbor’s” home, a classic Alaskan homestead set on 160 acres. There the kids picked berries and learned about growing food in remote Alaska. Another day trip was up to see the Yentna Station, the first checkpoint during the Iditarod Race from Anchorage to Nome. This is a business that provides lodging, food, fuel and liquid morale to anyone passing through this part of remote Alaska. The community in the Alaskan bush was larger than we had anticipated. We learned a lot about the area, the people, the dangers, and why so many people call this part of Alaska home. We hope you enjoy.

Quest’ultimo è un accessorio fondamentale per manovrare qualsiasi cabinato a vela: serve a moltiplicare la forza di tiro esercitata su qualsiasi scotta o cima che offra una certa resistenza e lo si utilizza per qualsiasi manovra corrente (scotte, drizze, amantigli, etc.), in particolare per issare e cazzare le vele. Oggi i cabinati a vela tendono ad avere in coperta solo pochi winch ma ben dimensionati e potenti. In un’attrezzatura standard in genere sono presenti due winch dedicati a drizze e amantigli, poi due verricelli più potenti con self-tailing per il genoa e altri due per lo spinnaker, la randa ed eventuali sartie volanti.
