Leaving the beautiful Isle of Gigha we begin sailing towards the Mull of Kintyre. The conditions were excellent to begin with and the sailing was great. However, as we approached the Mull of Kintyre the wind dropped so we had to motor to Campbeltown. After a night in Campbeltown anchorage, we set off back to Largs to complete this part of our 2024 adventure. We stayed in @YachtHavenLargs for a while, preparing ourselves and Nova Vita for the next part of the adventure.... Loaf: 1/2 C carrots (optional 1/2 C celery) 1/2 cup mushroom 2 cloves garlic 2 Tbsp soy sauce 2 Tbsp tomato paste 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning Salt/Pepper 3/4 cup bread crumbs 3/4 cup oats 3/4 cup dried lentils (2 cup cooked) Glaze: 1/2 cup ketchup 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tsp dijon mustard 1-2 tsp brown sugar Hope you enjoy this recipe! Op 3 april 2021 zeilen we richting Enkhuizen. Na 11 uur kruisen van Marina Muiderzand via Lelystad kwamen we in Enkhuizen aan. Naar Lelystad 15-20 knopen hoog aan de wind met de High Aspect fok en volledig grootzeil. Van Lelystad naar Enkhuizen met de High Aspect fok en twee reven in het grootzeil, 20-27 knopen wind. This week our adventures on the west coast of Scotland continue as we explore more of what Millport, the only town on the Island of Great Cumbrae, has to offer. Millport is Scotland's most accessible island and a firm favourite of ours. Millport has something to offer everyone, no matter your age. The island is beautiful and full of life every time we visit. This week we continue to relax at anchor for the first time in over a year, explore Millport, enjoy the sunshine and take a breather after 8 months of work in the boatyard. Ragdoll performed incredibly well despite all of our hiccups and we are looking forward to spending the summer on her! We finally get our 8 month old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy to swim, visit a kids playpark for the first time in a long time (covid!) and we unpack a mysterious red bag that's been sitting in our cockpit locker.. Passing Time During Gale... New Radar and VHF Installations | Sailing PILAR - Blue Dot Voyages During our 3 day wait during our Sailing trip during the November 2021 Gale, we tackled a couple of boat projects. No Friday Night Fun for us! Work...Work...Work. Watch the action here. 1. Our radar had been on and off spotty performance for over a year at least. After trying a new cable, and upgrading to Axiom Pro MFDs, we gave up and replaced our 6 year old Raymarine radar with the new Quantum2. SO worth it! This new radar rocks! LOVE the results! (BTW - West Marine has the best price with their free shipping) https://www.raymarine.com/marine-radar/radomes/quantum2/ 2. After hearing reports of our AIS position not transmitting correclty, we did some troubleshooting and discovered a VHF antennae was no longer transmitting correctly. So, we replaced that as well with a Shakespeare. If you go that route, just note that you will need a soddering gun so you don't have to make two trips to the store. Si le modèle standard était équipé d’un pont pliant pour le transport, son petit frère Junior se contentait d’un pontage en contreplaqué d’un seul tenant bien plus rigide.
