If you like American style big volume with bow flare, but also appreciate Finnish Adventure Boat hulls and their efficiency then this is a boat that sits somewhere in the middle. Featuring a hull designed by that same designer of Axopar Boats this is a boat that gives performance, capability and volume in one. But it doesn't stop there! This is a modular designed boat which means you can order a sun top and if you change your mind and want a cabin they can literally send you the sides and bolt them on at a later time! Same goes for furniture modules which makes this a design that can grow with you - or be easier to sell on the brokerage market because if the buyer wanted a different layout - no worries - change it! We are so close to leaving the wall. But we need a way to get off the boat when we leave ___________________________ Our prior boat - If you are interested in buying our previous boat, Supernova, a beautiful fully kitted out Prout Quasar 50, please send us an email at: sailingsupernova@gmail.com Supernova has tons of upgrades. 4kw solar, 2600 AH of lifpo4 lithium batteries. Full electric galley, watermaker, 2 years new electronics including auto pilot, radar and 16 inch chartplotter. Custom dinghy lift where you can leave the engine on (comes with 10.5 rib with almost new 20hp motor), new mainsail and jib, 14 foot by 7 foot custom hard top, dive compressor, two electric toilets with 2x 100 litre blackwater tank, put in 3 new fridge/freezer units, new prop shafts, 8 new underwater lights. We took the bottom down to gel-coat and put 6 layers of barrier coat on before new bottom paint (that was 3 years ago) and we replaced every through hull. We installed two new prop shafts and aquadrives. It has 4 staterooms, one oversized queen bed, one queen bed and to double beds with 4 heads but we are using 2 heads as just storage. You can live remote on this boat for months and months without needing to resupply (3 fridge/freezers, crazy amount of solar and giant lithium batteries etc). It still needs some cosmetic work inside and a couple of things here and there, but could cross oceans right now as is. We love this boat but we are aware we aren't going to get back anywhere near the money we put into her. The Royal Thames Yacht Club traces its origin to 1775, when Prince Henry, Duke of Cumberland and brother to King George III, founded a sailing society along the River Thames. That year, he presented the first of seven silver cups to be raced for from Westminster Bridge to Putney Bridge and back. Now, in 2025, the club is celebrating its 250th Anniversary with a Regatta in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, featuring prestigious events such as the IRC National Championship, the J/70 class Nationals and the RS Elite class Nationals, as well as racing for other classics, cruisers, dayboats and sportsboats. On Friday I spoke to Tom Partridge, Rear Commodore Sailing at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, J70 sailor and Royal Thames Yacht Club member Ben Clothier, who has fashioned a unique memento for the anniversary event, and Ben Vines, who is crewing on Adam Gosling’s yacht Yes!, the defending champions in the IRC Championship.
