Wow wow and wow. We navigated through two reefs using an old chart we had found on the internet. Mix that with an overcast day and we were sorta pushing it... but we made it to the inside of Beveridge Reef! Completely ​uninhabited, ​with ​the clearest blue water you’ll ever see (even on an overcast day) and some now well​-​fed reef sharks lurking in the pass. Still devo about losing that Tuna. Despite the fact we didn’t have the best weather for our stay, it was still one of the most surreal feelings I’ve ever had just being anchored there. A warm evening saw the start of this year’s CYCA Cabbage Tree Island Race in a yellow haze with the fleet initially mixing it with the various twilighters. A 15 knot NNE saw the fleet fetching their way through the Heads before heading into the breeze and up the coast. Bow Caddy caught the full fleet out of the harbour.

After weeks of strong winds and near-survival conditions, today’s Race 4 of the NSW 18ft Skiff Championship was sailed in a typically moderate summer North East wind on Sydney Harbour.

Overnight Alex Thomspon has called in to Race HQ in Paris to advise that he's hit something with his starboard foiler Moustache Wing. He's still in the race but it's too early to tell if it is a enough to slow him down crippling his leading chances. Once again Alex has had drama. It seems to be part of his every race plan. Only time will tell.
