While we’re getting him ready to take on the oceans, home is on Galopin up on stilts. The retractable keel was an issue which needed attention, and it’s a good thing we took a closer look. This week we finish up our Sailrite mainsail kit and get it on the boat. We then rip out some more carpet headliner. Finally we get back on the water and motor down to Beer Can Island to clean the bottom of our boat while a pod of dolphins follow us. On the way back we unfurl our new sails for the first time even though our CDI mainsail reefing system is not yet completely installed. NOW SOLD Launched in 1998, this Lagoon 410 owners version, Que Barbara is now exclusively for sale with Yoti at our Coomera office in SE Queensland. After being imported to Australia the vessel was purchased by the present owners in early 2010.
