I crack one window in a shaddy lower part of the van to create a consistent airflow. Other than that the fiberglass roof and insulation do a fantastic job of keeping the heat out. In colder climates I set the furnace on at minimum and close down all the windows same as for heat minus venting. - What happened to the girl? We decided to go seperate ways (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPgxDIXxCjY&t=4s) - Are you rich or something? definitely not. I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharring my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time.

Hi everybody - Impi is a catamaran sailing around the world having left South Africa a number of years ago. Here we are sailing the east coast of Australia, and in this episode, we sail from Moreton Island (Tangalooma) across Moreton Bay for Scarborough Marina. We find the town delightful and some historic interests too. But, our real treat is sailing up the Brisbane River into Brisbane City Centre where we drop anchor just in time to encounter a fairly wild storm. The last miles of my amazing adventure sailing in winter from Amsterdam to Ibiza. Brigitte and her son Ingmar are here with me on the boat the last miles of this incredible adventure. Can't believe I am finally reaching the beautiful island of Ibiza after 9 months on the water :) 90% of the people I spoke where surely I would die along the way, and sometimes they got close to being right. But my little Seahorse proved to be strong as a tank and withstood heavy weather, water coming in and running a ground. This old metal boat from 1969 pulled me trough it all. I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharring my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time.

Diesel heaters are effective heat sources on a liveaboard yacht, but they do need to be started properly. If you have too much fuel in the heater before you light it, you will have to deal with the heater "running away" where the excess fuel causes the heater to burn out of control.
