‘Winning Ways’ is a 2012 Elan 310 listed exclusively for sale with YOTI on Sydney Harbour. https://www.yoti.com.au/listing/elan-310-winning-ways The Elan 310 is an award-winning performance cruiser, designed by Rob Humphreys and built by Elan Yachts, that strikes an excellent balance between easy family cruising and club racing. Winning Ways is set up with two double cabins, a bright saloon with forward double berth and a double aft port cabin, a functional galley with a two-burner stove and oven plus top-loading fridge, and a manual toilet with holding tank and shower. Her rig was updated in 2015 with a double-spreader aluminium mast, stainless steel standing rigging, and a brand-new boom and vang in 2023. The 52 retains the watertight forward door introduced in 2010 but features a fully open saloon and aft cockpit. Efforts have been made to optimize performance with a 17% increase in sail area compared to the 50 and a slightly lower weight (around 183 lbs/83 kg less). In terms of price, it’s a bit the opposite: €30,000 more compared to the price of the Leopard 50 at the end of 2024 – but then you do gain two feet!
