Die Dorfschule, damals "zweizügig" (Klasse 1-4 und Klasse 5-7 wurden abwechselnd Vor- und Nachmittags unterrichtet) ist heute das Verkehrsbüro. Zwei Ehepaare und zwei Kinder zu sechst im Opel Kapitän (Kennzeichen KB = Kommandatura Berlin, amtl. Kennzeichen bis 1956 Die Winteraufnahmen stammen von dem Berliner Zeitungsverleger Kurt Lezinsky, gest. 1967. Zu sehen auch Gattin Ingrid und Sohn Rainer und die Familie Genz, ebenfalls aus Berlin Spandau. Weißbach ist heute ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Weißbach / Schneizlreuth. Der Ort hat bis heute einen tollen Charme und ist nicht so überlaufen, wie die angrenzenden Gebiete auf der deutschen Seite und im Salzburger Land. This is an introduction to understanding a typical set of boat plans. This is really a basic primer for those who are unfamiliar with them. I'll go into greater detail in another video. The plans shown are of the Canadian Ugo canoe built by J.H.Rushton. These plans were purchased from the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake NY. Twin wheels, self-tacking headsail, electric winches, with bow thruster, all make for easy handling while the yachts performance will very much impress. All lines are led aft to the twin helms allowing the coachroof to be completely clear of lines or winches. Impressively, for a larger yacht, she can be easily sailed by one person or two up. The massive owner’s cabin forward features an island berth with inner spring mattress and completely separate head and shower spaces. The well ventilated and lit saloon includes the full in-line galley to port with excellent refrigeration plus additional freezer (upgrade). Huge double hull windows bring the outside world in when desired. The large saloon table is folding plus the central island bar neatly conceals the retractable TV while offering further storage. A practical dedicated forward facing nav station sits to starboard. A second head with shower is to port and two large double cabins are found aft. The Volvo 75Hp boasts good front and side access and the Fisher Panda genenrator neatly sits above. Reverse cycle air conditioning was an important factory upgrade. A solid navigation package was chosen which includes a colour plotter in the cockpit, auto-pilot and HF radio. Takani’s sail wardrobe has been beefed up nicely along the way by Northsails and includes a new mainsail in 2015, overlapping genoa, self tacking headsail, heavy weather jib (on additional removable inner-forestay) plus three asymmetric kites and a furling Code Zero. Takani has only just been only recently slipped, serviced and anti-fouled in February 2018 and a maintenance summary since launch is available. From January 16th -18th, the biennial Horizon Open House was held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Ambientato durante la seconda guerra mondiale, il film racconta dell'evacuazione di Dunkerque, ed è interpretato da un cast corale che comprende Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Aneurin Barnard, James D'Arcy, Barry Keoghan, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance e Tom Hardy. Dopo aver pianificato un film sull'evacuazione di Dunkerque per più di venticinque anni, Nolan scrisse la sceneggiatura per raccontare la vicenda con pochi dialoghi e da tre punti di vista differenti (la terra, l'aria e il mare). Le riprese del film, girato su pellicola IMAX 65mm e pellicola a grande formato 65mm, cominciarono nel maggio 2016 a Dunkerque e terminarono a Los Angeles. Per aumentare il realismo del film, che è stato distribuito il 21 luglio 2017 negli Stati Uniti e il 31 agosto dello stesso anno in Italia, la produzione usò in larga parte effetti speciali pratici e utilizzò vere imbarcazioni che parteciparono all'evacuazione e aeroplani d'epoca. Nel gennaio 2016 venne confermato che Hans Zimmer avrebbe composto le musiche del film, su cui aveva già incominciato a lavorare.[35] Si tratta della sesta collaborazione tra Zimmer e Nolan. Nolan spiegò di aver scritto la sceneggiatura del film in modo da assecondare l'illusione uditiva della scala Shepard, che il regista aveva già sperimentato in The Prestige (2006), e anche la colonna sonora segue questo principio, creando una sensazione di intensità continua e crescente. Inoltre Nolan inviò a Zimmer una registrazione del ticchettio di un orologio, e Zimmer cominciò a comporre le musiche del film partendo da quel ritmo. È stata pubblicata da WaterTower Music il 21 luglio 2017.

Boat schooling is the best! It normally takes the kids 3 hours to get through their New Zealand correspondence curriculum. Often they do it sailing between islands, then in our minds the real schooling starts. Today it's a cute town with some brilliant modern art and a sail up towards Athens where we learn about some modern and ancient Greek history. We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures! We started to take on water while traversing a very turbulent waterway. Water was rushing in fast and the bilge was working hard. It took us around three minutes to find the issue. Speed-loving sailors of all varieties descended on Miami, Florida in early February 2018, for the American stop on the Foiling Week regatta circuit. A coming together of all matters foiling, the event played host to classes like the Moth, UFO, and C Cat, as well as speakers, manufacturers, and more than a few top-gun sailors. Amidst all this foiling awesomeness was the Harken Kidz Trials. Selected from 100+ entries, six youth sailors were invited to Foiling Week for two days of coaching and sailing in the Waszp. The Waszp is a simpler, one-design take on the famous Moth. The kids were fortunate to have two great coaches on-hand: Reed Baldridge, U.S. Waszp Class President, and Jorge Madden, Training Program Director at Oakcliff Sailing. As was expected, the breeze proved fickle and elusive each morning. This presented an opportunity for the kids to drop in to the Gurit Forum for a few sessions, where they heard insights from designers and sailors pushing forward the leading edge of sailing. Once things heated up, the early afternoon brought with it a moderate breeze, just strong enough for foiling. After learning the ins and outs of the Waszp and its control systems, the sailors all piled into a coach boat and set out onto Biscayne Bay. Through no shortage of capsizes and nose-dives, each sailor repeatedly worked to refine their new set of foiling skills.
