After getting the hook set Camille goes ashore with Mr. Steady while I watch massive schools of fish swim under the boat! The water in the anchorage is so clear you can see the bottom perfectly even in the 30ft depth. After returning to the boat Camille goes snorkeling and I feed the fish with breadcrumbs so Camille can see the feeding frenzy. After a nice sunset we enjoy dinner and contemplate a night adventure. Just in case you were wondering, we solved the dirty situation with black water tank by inserting a hose through the through-hole and turning on water with high pressure, this was the magic trick to unclog it. FYI: The black water tank was NOT dumped in the bay, not only is it nasty but also ILLEGAL. The Eye Splice is a quick and easy way to create a loop in single braided rope, it can be completed in a couple of minutes once you know how. The simplest version requires you to know the length of rope you need and for both ends of the rope to be free. This makes it impossible to complete if one end is already fixed. This can be an issue if you are splicing off a spool of rope or if one of your rope end needs to be spliced to a fixed object. There is however an easy variant of the splice which can be completed when one end of the line is fixed, giving you the flexibility to splice both ends of the line, avoiding the use of knots which weaken the breaking strength of your line. The key to eye splice with one end fixed is taking the twist out of the tail before it is hidden in the main line. The splice will work without this step, but will have lower breaking strain due to the twist. So to be sure to maintain the breaking strength of you line don't leave out this critical step when one end of the line is fixed. A Mark Boat in a Regatta is a small boat of volunteers who set up marker buoys of different colors and shapes that make up the race course where the race boats must turn around or pass thru a gate, and then record the Names and the Times of the boats passing the Mark. 11-Montage-Journal Vacance 2019 « Île Quarry 1-2-3 Sept » -Visite de courtoisie d’un Agent de Parc Canada . -Quelle Belle rencontre:Vincent et Minette ( Voilier Boême) il m’a beaucoup enrichi sur les fruits sauvages et plus encore . -Super rencontre aussi, un ti couple adorable comme tout ( des campeurs sur l’île) qui vient de Montréal ( le monde est petit non 😉) Anthony Provencher Lortie et Louise Lemay - 1hrs avant la pleine basse , départ. Sur les berges , faire le tours côté « EST »pour aller voir nos superbe monolithes. -Retour de justesse 😂 les pieds presqu’à l’eau. -Amarré à quai pour la nuit . -Le lendemain chacun notre tour ,sans Niña , on fait une marche sur la promenade à l’intérieur de l’île . (prise de Photo et récolte de petit fruit sauvages . -Vue les Vents non favorable pour nous et belle rencontre nous sommes rester 3 jours . Voilier Biloup⛵️

Jolie sortie, aller-retour de Palavas-les-flots, au Grau du roi. Vent de Nord, 10 noeuds avec rafales à 20. On a fait l'aller avec la GV seule, a 3,5 noeuds, et retour avec deux ris dans le génois à 6 noeuds. On progresse !
