Dick began sailing Snipe as a crew for neighbors and friends the Levinson brothers. He went on to become National Champion in 1959 and he's got an interesting story that goes along with that regatta. Following his early start in Snipe, Dick went on to further success in other classes. In recent years he has returned to the Snipe class renewing old friendships.
