We had a great holiday on land and made our way back to Hangtime in Exuma. We are content to be spending time in this beautiful area. Recent Videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G2XDSJEKUc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__LoBzWPRNY&t=51s Posting on: https://www.facebook.com/sailinghangtime https://www.instagram.com/sailinghangtime/ -------------------------------------------- About us: We are a family of four who have been living on our boat for the past 3+ years with our two boys and our newest addition, a Havanese pup named Ruby. We worked hard in our 20's and 30's and built a company that has an amazing team managing it and allows us to work remotely and take time to enjoy this time with our fmaily. We love adventure, sports and an active lifestyle but also take pleasure in a great meal or a sunset gin and tonic. Boat life is challanging and busy but we have been learning as we go and have a great appreciation for the sailing community and the willingness of others to teach and share skills. Let's keep ticking nautical miles and boat jobs off! https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=C6M8FAYZ5K2ZS This weeks episode we catch you up on what has been going on for quite some time now. Yep, we've made the switch to Lithium batteries. We explain why we needed new batteries, why we chose lithium, how it all went down and how our new system works. It's been a looonnnngggg process, it all started in December when all our new gear to set up our lithium battery system arrived. Christmas and Covid postponed the starting of installation, but finally, after we found a willing electrician that was up for the daunting job, installation began and we are left in a 10 metre construction site. But now we're in the light at the end of the tunnel making frozen berry smoothies! How to adjust the length of the Rescue Sling so that the sling and the MOB Lifesaver are the same length and the casualty is brought out horizontally. Different lifejakcets have different lengths of lifting beckets and so the Rescue Sling length needs to be adjusted to match that of the MOB Lifesaver attached to the lifting becket.
