http://tulasendlesssummer.com We headed South from Highbourne Cay and anchored off Shroud Cay. We immediately began exploring just North of the Exuma Land and Sea Park border off Norman's Cay. We didn't have any luck spearfishing in the sound so we snorkeled around the drug smuggling plane wreck off Norman's Cay. There was monster barracuda hanging with us as well as tons of fish. It was super cool exploring the wreck knowing the history of Norman's Cay and the mission of the plane with its cocaine cargo.

WINSOME IV (S&S 2121), built at Berthon in 1972, came back for her normal winter layup. This time she came back for major rudder repairs, including having the rudder skeg and skeg shoe rebuilt. Winsome is made from aluminium, providing a different challenge for the shipwrights and engineers, demonstrating the diversity of the skills we have in-house. We also repainted her non-slip deck in our dedicated paint facility. Her topsides, painted the year before, were polished after completing numerous race-miles including the Middle Sea Race. Lastly, her hull was fared and antifouled, ready for another busy season on the racing circuit. www.berthon.co.uk

Vladimir Prosikhin's Team Nika today scored one of the biggest wins in the one design keelboat class' recent history when she claimed the RC44 Portsmouth Cup by a massive 14 points. Thanks to Principal Race Officer Peter Reggio and his world famous wind-seeking nose, one race was held today, on an otherwise wind-less Hayling Bay. Team Nika started with a 12-point advantage in the 11 boat fleet, so had all but won the regatta before this. As tactician Ed Baird explained: "The only way we couldn't win was if Team Aqua won and we had a collision and got penalty points." Team Aqua take second place regaining the RC44 golden wheels as current Championship Tour leaders and Katusha took third. The RC44 Portsmouth Cup is the third event of the 2016 Championship Tour, which pitts the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.
