La primera travesia que realizamos desde la isla de Malta al puerto de Monastir, Tunez.

Après un mois et demi passé sur cette île très épargnée sur grand tourisme, nous allons à Las Palmas sur Gran Canaria afin de découvrir le reste de l'archipel.

Après 10 ans de préparation et un mois de juillet épuisant, nous larguons enfin les amarres.

En décembre 2009, nous entamons la construction de notre voilier en acier sur plan amateur.

Après réalisation des couples, pose des premières tôles de la coque.

Premier retournement de la coque...

Un nouvel an au soleil, c'est une première pour nous. Nous fêtons ça au mouillage avec nos amis du voilier Lady Jane.

C'est la première dois que je fête mon anniversaire au soleil. Très belle surprise des deux équipages que nous avons rencontrés à Gran tarajal.

Nous quittons puerto Caléro sur Lanzarote pour nous rendre à Gran Tarajal sur Fuerteventura.

Après avoir loué une voiture, nous rejoignons nos amis des voiliers Jeito et Gwendic qui sont au mouillage à Arrecife. Nous allons visiter l'île ensemble.

Première longue navigation pour nous. Après 5 jours et 6 nuits, nous arrivons aux Canaries.

Nous quittons le continent Européen pour l'Afrique. 3 jours de traversée.

Nous continuons notre descente des côtes portugaises.

Nous continuons notre descente le long des côtes portugaises.

Nous descendons les côtes espagnoles.

Nous traversons la frontière. Nous changeons de pays

Après avoir constaté que le safran avait tapé la coque et provoqué un éclat, nous avons décidé de sortie Tahé afin de faire les modifications nécessaires et de profiter pour faire un petit nettoyage.

Nous quittons Camarinias pour une escale d'une nuit au mouillage à Muros

Après un essai raté avec notre annexe à Cangas, des réparations ont été nécessaires. Nous retentons l'expérience.

Kinley Fowler worked his way up to rockstar status. After years of successful racing, his professional career was launched, starting as a volunteer shore crew member with Oracle Team USA. His hard work paid off and he earned himself a spot on the sailing team, going on to win the 2013 America’s Cup and rejoining the team for the 2017 edition. Fowler’s racing resume is extensive, with success in the Laser class, match racing, the M32 circuit, and a podium finish in the Sydney Hobart. This season, he can be found on the SailGP circuit as a Flight Controller and Grinder on the Australian team. We beach the boat to clean the barnies off the hulls, probably not in the best place with Big Crocodiles around but we need a clean bum to sail around the most northerly cape in Western Australia which is notorious for being dangerous! We sail into the King George River, i think we were so blown away all we could say was Wow its spectacular, beautiful and stunning the whole time we were there ;) IT REALLY WAS!!!!!! Docking fails! A motorboat captain creates chaos while docking in the Marina of Poros. He loses his head in this docking disaster and dives to get his rope out of the propeller without securing his boat first. chaotic docking is nothing new in Greek marinas. The anchor to stern mooring is not ideal in 90-degree angles, and even at a straight line, the risk is huge someone will throw their anchor on top of your chain. But before all of this we are sailing into a beautiful sunset, we have a calm nightsail and arrive just before an amazing sunrise in Poros. Just another magical moment at sea :) I feel I repeat myself when I say there is nothing as stunning as a magic sunset at sea.
