It was exposed to the weather for 22 years and we had a long way until we got to this point: a fresh painted deck, even with a non-skid on the top of it. If you are new here... we are a Brazilian couple that have just bought a 44ft hot galvanized steel sailboat (Dinieper Tropic 1200) and is on the mission of bringing her back to life after 22 years abandoned on the hard. Season 5 Episode 94 - Fixing more broken systems on the ship. On this weeks episode we work on some of the many systems of the boat that need attention as storms pass overhead one after another. After repairing the water tank hose, relocating the VHF antenna and taping down the GPS antenna we head over to check out the local museum and eventually find ourselves being attacked by razor clams. After 10 days of sailing from SC to Fl, we finally make it to our destination in Riviera Beach, FL but not before both of our engines stop working and we get caught in a 30 knot squall.
