Smoked a Boss Audio CE200M 200 Watt amp, think there was a defect, but it did not sound that bad before it failed. This amp sub combo is for my younger son's ATV, but after hearing it I don't think it would be enough without playing the amp at distorted levels. Before it went up in smoke, I had the amp plugged in one of the channels of the sub at 4 ohms with half gain set at about 50 Hz. I was playing "Bass I Love You" and the speaker seemed to be moving at all the frequencies. The rest of the story is yet to come, we will build this right after Christmas.
