We anchored the 42’ sailboat in the pristine cove at Isla San Francisco in the Sea of Cortez midway through my seven day hands-on Nautilus sailing school. While hiking the ride to watch the sunset, a drone continually circled us. It was unnerving. We later learned it was being operated from the deck of a neighboring sailboat by a friendly sailor short on wine. For 50 years I have dreamed of getting my American Sailing Association (ASA) Certification enabling me to sail on the ocean. I selected Nautilus Sailing School and was more than satisfied. Captain Dave Bell was our instructor. His extensive experience racing sailboats and later living aboard a cruising catamaran with his family gave him the unique qualifications I was looking for in a teacher. Puis retour Cette navigation en voilier est d'une durée d'environ deux heures. In Part 3 of 3, we leave Ninilchik, Alaska on the Homer Peninsula and drive over to Seward, Alaska. He enjoyed roaming around this beautiful port city. We then drove to "Exit Glacier" to experience our first Glacier Hike ever. At the end of the video Lolo, grandpa, explains what it was like to try and survive in a canoe with Anthony who has Autism. Our Alaska trip was a fun memory for our family .
