Sono stata molto fortunata, i ragazzi sono stati fantastici! Una squadra molto unita, dove ognuno copre le spalle all'altro, dove si condivide e s'impara allo stesso tempo. Io mi sono divertita da morire, perché con il tempo ho imparato che: L'obiettivo è importante, ma il vero valore è come raggiungerlo A volte non raggiungo l'obbiettivo, ovvero non vinco la regata, ma se abbiamo combattuto bene fino all'ultimo senza mai mollare, senza mai arrenderci, con la squadra unita, allora per me è come una vittoria. Ci sono state delle regata che ho vinto ma avevo navigato male e non mi sentivo di meritarlo Invece regate perse ma con la sensazione di aver vinto perché avevamo navigato proprio bene, nello spirito giusto. Nous avons passé deux semaines au Kenya, deux semaines extraordinaires, riches en découvertes et en émotions. La première semaine, nous l'avons consacrée au safari. Nous sommes passés, dans un premier temps, par le Masaï Mara, qui nous a offert toute sa richesse, sa densité d'animaux incroyable, son caractère verdoyant improbable. Puis nous sommes allés au Lac Naivasha et ses hippopotames, ses aigles pêcheurs, etc. Pour finalement passer une nuit au bord du Lac Elementaïta, salé de nature et proposant un panorama sur les flamands roses de toute beauté. Ensuite, nous avons pris la direction du parc Ambosseli, au pied du Kilimandjaro. Tantôt complètement aride, tantôt bénéficiant de la fonte des neiges du point culminant d'Afrique et offrant des marécages où toutes les espèces se retrouvent. Cette première semaine s'est achevée par la visite du parc Tsavo Est, plus à l'image de ce que l'on s'imaginait d'un safari. Terre rouge, climat aride, animaux plus rares. Après un transit par Mombasa, nous avons pris l'avion vers l'île de Lamu au nord du pays. Son architecture Swahili, ses maisons blanches, ses murs en pierre de corail, ses boutres, nous ont fait nous évader totalement. Visite hors du temps, baignade et farniente sur les plages de sable blanc où les îliens s'y rendent en âne. Nous sommes revenus à la réalité en revenant sur le continent et cette fois en séjournant quelques jours à Watamu. Plages idylliques, rochers découpés, mais tourisme de masse nous ont fait encore nous rapprochés de la vie à l'occidentale. Notre voyage s'est terminé par la visite de Mombasa, carrefour historique de l'Afrique de l'Est depuis lequel nous avons repris un avion pour Mayotte.
