After spending a week in Noumea, we realised we had to crack on and get our Rigging issues fixed. As is quite often the case with getting boats repaired there was a fair bit of hanging around and waiting. This gave us the opportunity to observe the goings on in and around the bay. "What started out as a fast sleigh ride down the coast from Galveston to Port Arkansas, Texas in 15-20kts winds finished with a norther blowing 35-42kts and 10-12ft seas. Vlog #8 While on our way from Newport to Crescent City the autopilot was having trouble trying to handle the swell. So Captain Trav took over, thinking he could do a better job. He was really celebrating his massive victory but later watching the footage back we realized he BARELY beat the autopilot at all. Die Höllentalklamm liegt in der Nähe von Grainau, dem Dorf direkt am Fuß der Zugspitze. Der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Wanderung zur Höllentalklamm ist der Wanderparkplatz im Ortsteil Hammersbach. Die Höllentalklamm ist nur in der schneefreien Jahreszeit zugänglich. Je nach Witterung und Schneelage wird die Klamm im Laufe des Monats Mai eröffnet und Ende Oktober wieder geschlossen. Der bequemste und schnellste Weg ist aber sicherlich der Klammweg, der direkt am Hotel Haus Hammersbach (777 m) beginnt und sich anschließend, geschützt durch den Wald, immer entlang des wildromantischen Hammersbachs bis zur Höllentaleingangshütte auf eine Höhe von 1045 m schlängelt. Vom Hotel bis zur Eingangshütte sind es knapp 300 Höhenmeter auf einer Länge von ca. 2,8 km. Je nach Kondition sollten Sie deshalb ca. 60 - 90 Minuten für den Weg zur Klamm einplanen. Der Weg zur Klamm kann recht rutschig sein, der Klammweg sowieso. Von daher sollte man Vorsicht walten lassen.

Die erste Mittwochsregatta 2022 brachte Sonnenschein und sehr schönen Wind zum Segeln auf der Ostsee vor Warnemünde. Es gab einige neue Yachten, die sich in das Starterfeld einreihten. Für SY Monk begann die Regattasaison 5 Sekunden zu früh, aber nach der Korrektur des Frühstarts begann die Aufholjagd. Anschließend gab es im Yachthafen von Warnemünde an der Mittelmole eine Bootstaufe - allerdings mit bekanntem Namen, da die X-41 Intoxicated inflationsbereinigt fast wie die vorherige X-35 daherkommt.

This Lagoon 42 with its 3 cabins and 3 heads is fully equipped for Bluewater cruising. Only two owners, never in charter and many upgrades The hull is constructed of a balsa core, with solid GRP below the waterline. The balsa core keeps the boat light, the solid GRP, the boat safe. The cockpit is large and what one expects in a cruising catamaran cockpit. It’s has a table with an L shaped settee, as well as several other seating options.
