This three day race is one of our firm favourites. Not least because it gives some of our Dazcat family a chance to meet up and socialise. We normally expect it to be a blustery and wet affair, so early in the year, but this year we were treated to scorching hot sunshine and very little wind. Many of the boats retired on some or all the legs as the pub was calling, but still we managed to have a great deal of fun. Belladonna (D10) our oldest and smallest racer came in 1st overall.

In preparation for reopening schools in China, schools are practicing emergency infection prevention procedures should a student or staff member begin showing coronavirus COVID-19 symptoms in the classroom or school building. This video is an actual reenactment of one of these drills with yours truly like the one infected with the virus but it was a surprise and no one knew until I started acting up.
