April 2024 has seen the launch of our first 3-Deck Silent 62 Yacht from our shipyard in Fano, Italy and bound for a life in the Bahamas. The new 3-Deck Silent 62 option provides a game changing flybridge entertaining space of 58m2 utilising the full beam of the Silent 62 with additional solar panels on the carbon fibre roof providing shade form the sun whilst harnessing more solar energy. It is time to share a major milestone which was set during the beginning of 2023. After the acquisition of our new-build facility in Fano last summer, our team now proudly presents the launch of our very first SILENT 60 manufactured by our shipyard located on Italy´s Adriatic Coast. Currently, there are another 10 SILENT 60s in production at the facility. The very first SILENT 80 will be completed here in a few months’ time as well. A first video with some impressions of the SILENT 120 Explorer - the boldest expression of solar powered yachting yet. (Design by Marco Casali, Too-Design Studio, Italy) Her solar array fitted on top of the fourth deck will be capable of producing 40 kWp. The energy harnessed from the sun is then stored in advanced lithium batteries with a maximum capacity of up to 800 kWh. In combination with twin electric motors (340 kW each), the she will have an economic speed of 6-8 knots, a regular cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 14-16 knots.
